Advertising blog: Vote Bowser!

Bowser fan here. You've heard of Gamespot's Greatest Gaming Villain Contest, right? Well, now you have. Well mariostar0001 is here to tell you this: Vote Bowser! That's all.

Okay, that's not all, it's trivia time!

Fact: Donkey Kong is the only character to be in both the greatest hero and villain contest.
Opinion: Do not EVER vote ANYONE made by Valve.
Fact: Bowser is the greatest villain ever, no contest.

Now that's really all. :P

I've been tagged

Three times in a week. But guess what? I'm ignoring it. If I ignore it, it will go away.

Sorry I've not been reading many blogs lately, I've been busy. Two weeks ago was the church sale, last week was my Mom's convention (I was stuck staying home, watching a little dog and playing video games), and this week was, well, cleaning the house since we're finally home long enough to do it.

And finally, I bought Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. I still plan to buy Advance Wars: Dual Strike to finish my Advance Wars collection, and might get Phantasy Star Collection as well ($5 for three Genesis RPGs, well, one's from the Master System). And, that's about it. Boring, right? :P

I may be here, but likely not.

For most of the week, starting on Monday. My Mom is going to an annual conference (CHA, some crafter's conference  ), and I (And my siblings) are going to my grandmother's for most of the week. The internet at her house is sort of weird, so I likely won't be on at all next week, besides maybe on Sunday. :| So this is just a warning for all those who might miss me, all three of you. :P My birthday party finally occurs tonight, so I may have a new blog on Sunday, but I don't know. Until then, see you all. ;)

EDIT: Forgot that I promised to show the cake.
Isn't that just EPIC?! Courtney promised me it's a real cake, and mentioned that the cupcakes are supposed to be Ewok catapults. And no, it wasn't actually made by her. :P

Happy birthday!

Yes, I had to brag. :P I got a cake already from Courtney, I'll show you guys it if she lets me. :P

Anyway, I have more news: Why didnt anyone tell me? Goldeneye 007 DS Seriously, I found out about it on IGN and found it on Gamespot. Who knew? :o

Quick, lame blog.

All right, this will be a short update. Yesterday I found some really cool things I didn't expect to find. Third place: A GBA SP case, so I no longer need to put my GBA in my DS case. Second place: A GBA link cable. I can finally play multiplayer GBA games with my cousins, that's pretty cool. First place: Super Mario All-Stars (Not the Mario World version). I finally went to my sisters and asked if I could have the SNES back, since even though they've had it in their room for months I've played it more then they've had. Youngest sister said yes, fine, other one (Who thinks video games are time-wasters and not as fun as Facebook, which she also doesn't think much of) said no. Why? Fairness. "It's not fair that the boys can have two game systems and the girls get none." I asked her "Why? It's not like you play them anyway." She held her ground. Finally we (Sort of) decided on the one who last used it gets it. Right now it's in my room with Starfox, Mario All-Stars, and Super Metroid. If my sisters ever want to play it they can have it to play. Based on how much they play it, I'm guessing I'll have it for a good, long time. I'm in world 6 of Mario 1, world 2 of Lost Levels, world 1 of Mario 2, and world 6 of Mario 3 (I never did beat world 6, only the others). I'm finding I like it, the graphics and music look and sound really cool, and I like the save features and getting five lives in 1 and Lost Levels instead of 3. That's all for now. ;)

Update on life, or something like that.

First off, I looked in my tracked games, and learned I'm the only one tracking the DS version of James Bond: Blood Stone. Big surprise, for a while I was one of two users with the DS version of Rubik's Party Deluxe (Or something like that) in my Now Playing. Anyway, on with life. Or not, since Gamespot is virtual. All right, I have been playing Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2, and that's about it, for the last couple of weeks (with a short break to play Kirby Superstar Ultra and Photo Dojo) and I've learned that I'm sort of addicted to it. And that's not really that good. Fortunately it's calmed down some. Other than that I've not done much, I don't go many places anymore. It doesn't help that everywhere I go is someplace my Mom is going, then again, it is our only vehicle (Besides that car my Dad uses to drive to work), and I can't drive until I'm 16 anyway, so I can't complain. Speaking of 16, my 16th birthday is in five days. Thought I'd mention that since I might not be blogging then.

In other news, I'm in too many Gamespot unions. I have some I'm quite active in, some I'm barely in, and never have time for all of them. I think it's time to seriously go through them and cut some out, and not just the ones I don't even visit, I dumped those already. It'll be quite a process, I'm in 21 unions (Plus two union applications I might withdraw since I've had no answer for a month or two). So yeah, that's about it. Amazing how much I can make of so little. Well, this blog seems like it needs something more. How about a picture? Which would you prefer a picture of, my new sig?

Or Bowser?

Not the best Bowser picture ever, but the best one goes off the side off the screen. This one: BOWSER POWER

That's all for now, see ya!

My top five list: It's not about games.

Two friends of mine, with a total of three top five lists. All of theirs are about hardest games in various series. Mine is about Gamespot, specifically users. The name?

Top five users you do NOT want to get angry.

Yep, I'm brave enough to face their wrath by singling them out. Fortunately, I have a nice funeral home picked out. Lots of flowers, big rooms for the ten people who'd care, the works. :P Oh well, on to the list.

#5: Kjhg

Wishes to take over the world: Not that I know of.

Bio: The nicest guy on the list, barely made it on. He's on here for being emotionless, if you fail in any way or are incompetent, you're gone. Officer doesn't do his job? Demoted, no questions asked. Someone doesn't like how he does his job as leader? Too bad, whine too much and you're fired. Pitiless, but does enjoy a good practical joke on someone besides himself or his officers. Do your job quietly and don't be disruptive and you'll just be ignored.

#4: sirracannal

Wishes to take over the world: Not really, but she'd help Slyfur do it.

Bio: She's a random person, like certain other users, and has frequent mood swings depending on what she feels like posting. One moment you might be talking nonsense happily, the next she'd eat you for the slightest thing. And her stomach is weird, it doesn't digest people, meaning you're stuck forever. If she feels you're an actual threat, she'll kick you between the legs until you fall to the floor in agony.

#3: Slyfur

Wishes to conquer the world: Yes, and rule with pet ninja kittens.

Bio: She has friends who she protects until they cross her, and enemies she wishes to hunt down and destroy, and weapons to hunt them with. Cross her and she'll feed you to her pet kittens, who have secret ninja training. It's as scary as it sounds. :o

#2: ktulu007

Wishes to take over the world: Yes, and rule with an iron hand. A heavy iron hand.

Bio: He's calculating and watches every step you make. If you cross him, he'll kill you instantly, the easiest and most efficient way possible. Offend his sense of morality and he'll bore you to death with endless arguments that apply to 20th centuries values. Not a guy to take lightly.

#1: SonicZero

Wishes to take over the world: Sort of, the planet yes, the people he'd just kill.

Bio: Anyone who knows him knew he'd be number one on the list. And with good reason, he's brutal and scary. Get him angry at all, even for mention the words Shadow the Hedgehog, and he'll kill you. And not just kill you, but beat you to death and drop you in a well to stay until you die slowly from lack of food or blood. He wants to conquer the world someday, believing that if he violently removes the entire population besides himself and those he loves (His girlfriend and children) then the world will finally have peace.

And there you have it, five members to avoid getting on their bad side. Too bad I already am.

Writer's Block: Over.

For almost two months or so I've been in writer's block, I had two half-written reviews I couldn't finish because anything I wrote felt forced. Now suddenly, I can write again. Don't ask how or why, I have no clue. Two reviews written here and a rant for SonicSpot, you can see them in said places. And megamario9: Please stop thumbing down Mario Kart DS reviews that give it a score higher then 5. :P

I have to take a break from Advance Wars.

Why? I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that my sister complains that it's all I talk about (Even if she's only half right). Maybe it's the fact that it's the number one thing I think about, memorizing specific details about it in an attempt to become better at it. Or maybe it's sitting down on the toilet, looking at the two toilet paper rolls in front of me, one half used and one 2/3 used, and wondering if I should join/merge them so I can buy/build another one. Take your pick. Either way, I need to take a few days break, I'm too obsessed with it for now. Anyone who's seen me in unions might say the same, I've posted the message "Advance Wars 1 and 2" in different "What are you playing?" threads at least 30 times in four different unions. Plus I've nearly gotten grounded twice (And did once) for playing too late because I lost track of time. I think it's break time.

Hi, I'm back.

After 2 days of being gone for the weekend I'm back. I went to a church retreat, we went to a camp type thing in the woods, where we swam (In a pool) hiked (Or not, the excessive rain made the paths into mud) and played sports, plus I watched the first movie I've actually thought was good in almost five years. :o And yet none of your have heard of it I bet. :P The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, a well-written and unapologetically Christian movie. (Would you expect anything less at a church retreat? :P).

As for gaming: I'm still playing Advance Wars, of course. :P I'm enjoying them a lot, plenty of personalities in the enjoyable story and masterful gameplay that makes you think. You can't beat the game without using your brain at least once, even with a walkthrough the harder missions take skill. Sorry Aidan, you wouldn't like it too much. :P
