Is my blog title creepy or what? (What = cliched. :P). This blog could also be renamed "mariostar0001's four problems" because I have four problems, which I will list for you here.
Problem one: The light goes out at seven. So I get up from spending three hours on Gamespot, look outside and see how dark it is and think "Wow, eight already? I was on Gamespot for four hours". So I head downstairs and glance at the clock, it's seven 'o clock. I go outside, it's grey, partly cloudy, and the street lights are on. I think "Wow, it got dark at eight yesterday. Where did the daylight go?" That's problem one.
Problem two: Where did the daylight go?
As mentioned in my blog aove me, I ended three hours spent on Gamespot and such sites. Sure, I took a break for dinner and such, and I'm actualyl just rounding, it's likely more like two hours. But still, that's a lot of time, and I've been doing it most of the summer. Wasting my time on my computer, on the internet, talking to random, false-faced strangers. Scary thought. :| And I don't know how to stop. :o:cry:
Problem three: I want my bracket back.
Update on Gamespot's Greatest Villains Contest: Among the final eight contestents, we have Ganondorf beating the Joker, despite me guessing that neither would make it this far. I'm rooting Ganon though, only because of the rest of the tournament right now. In sector two, we have Kerrigan beating Bowser. Yes, my favorite is losing. :x I blame Starcraft II. Sector three features Diablo beating Vader. I picked Vader to win it all, and now he's losing to some stupid demon. :x Diablo wasn't supposed to make it here, Gigyas was supposed to beat him, but we all know how that went. In sector four is the worst case of all: Dr. Breen beating General RAAM. I could care less about RAAM, but Dr. Breen winning? He's nothing more then the false face of an evil enterprise. But I know why he's winning. Guess what game he's from? Half Life 2. The home of Gordon Freeman. *Lightbulbs appear over everyones' heads* Yes, I'm putting my mney on the table to say that it'll end up being that Breen will beat both Diablo and whoever wins out of Ganon versus Kerrigan to take the title and net Steam a second victory. And if I'm right, I will never take part in another Gamespot's Greatest Whatever again. :x
Problem four: What to buy, what to buy?
Not including finding and purchasing Super Mario Land from a thrift store I've bought eleven games this year. All twelve of those cost $122 though, which is 1/5 of the price of 12 new Wii games ($600). Anyway. Based on my own set limits, I can only buy twelve games a year, so that means I buy exactly one more. And I've set my eyes on Metroid Prime Hunters at the moment. Yes I know all about the conflicting opinions around it, but I'll say this: I played and enjoyed Star Wars: Lethal Alliance for DS. Any questions? No? Good. Anyway, there are other games I could get as well. Specifically: GBA games. With the 3DS coming there's a good chance of them leaving Gamestop forever, but also a chance of them being heavily discounted first. So, what to do? Buy Prime Hunters and hope I have the money to buy hopefully cheaper GBA games, or buy a (Or break my own rules and buy two) Gameboy Advance game before they stop being sold forever? Decisions, decisions.
So what's your take on these questions? You don't have to answer all, but I'd like input on at least #4 for obvious reasons.
