@ZERO_X02 It's called the Nintendo Network, and the Miiverse. Maybe you would've heard about it if you actually watched the Press Conference at E3. Also, what the heck would you even use the Multitouch for?
@Double_Wide Sheesh, Nintendo hasn't given up on it yet. They announced some amazing games for 3DS at E3, did they not? They also announced the Miiverse will eventually reach it as well. It'll be at least another 3 years before the next gen is released.
@Rakshee C'mon man, the 3DS has been out for over a year now. No duh, of course SOME planning for a new handheld has started. Guess what? Some people JUST bought a PSP when the PS Vita was announced. Some people had JUST bought a DS when the 3DS was announced. They have to release something new at SOME point, so when do you suggest they do it?
@n0matter Did I say that something was wrong with it? On the contrary, I agree with all points listed in your reply. It's things like this that keep Nintendo in buisness. Individuality.
Already planning the next-gen, eh? Nintendo has now completely gone on it's own path for releasing their consoles and handhelds. I remember when the Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 all released at roughly the same time. Now the Wii U has a 1-2 year lead on it's competitors. Nintendo has made it's own generation of Gaming.
Anything past $350 is insane. $250 would just put them even more in the hole. Yea, I'm planning on a $300 system. $350 if it comes with a game. Nintendo Land seems like the sort of thing you would bundle with it.
@Pedro So what you're trying to say is that it's easier to pause the game, scroll over a map with an analog stick, and un-pause, compared to looking down. Granted, SING is a bad example of using a second screen. Batman: Arkham City and LEGO City Undercover are much better examples of ways to use the new tech.
