@emperiox It's pretty sad when Sony's handheld is getting pwned by both. You need to look at the sales chart, my friend. Nintendo has sold over 5 Million 3DS's, then you need to add the normal DS sale. May it also be noted that at least a third of the people who own a smartphone aren't playing games on it. Totally different market.
@Zignoff Are you aware that the original Legend of Zelda are being sold on an average of 20 bucks on Ebay? And the NES itself for over $200? The one on eShop is super cheap. And I dare ask, what kind of decent games could possibly exist on an iPhone?
Ah, those fools that thought the 3DS was doomed to fail, how I pity them....sort of. If you don't have one, you need to get one. You don't know impressive until you see 3D gaming.
This is horrible. The most mind-numbing, time-wasting game is coming to home consoles. It's one thing if your in a car or, for some people, in a class. But playing Angry Birds on a couch in your home is just a complete waste of your life. At least play something that involves more then pulling back a slingshot.
@Fossil- Tell me, what makes the controller a tablet? The screen? I suppose the PS Vita is a tablet too? Wii controllers just TV remotes? Let's get something straight. Nintendo is being innovative. The GamePad isn't a tablet. It's a fat PS Vita, at most. By implementing a touchscreen, Nintendo has increased the gameplay possibilities as much as the Wii remotes. Also, the buttons make it more then a tablet. It's different! (and about a billion times better..)
@ChiefFreeman Because Apple would make the price super cheap, therefore turning Mario into crap. And I would just LOVE to hear how you expect to play Mario without buttons, because touchscreens suck for platforming.
@u1tradt Yes, as you say, news articles are supposed to give you information. This, my friend, is most certainly not a news article. It's more of a blog then anything, and I see neither info or insight.
Although I agree with this whole list, I doubt any of them would be at launch. Also, I'm just going to add a couple things, and what I expect for them. I'm sure I'm not the only one that want's them.
-Starfox- Gyro controls. Communications would appear on the tablet. Also, use of Mii characters?
-F-Zero- Incredible graphics,custom machines, and again, Mii's?
-Chrono Trigger- There have been plenty of re-releases, but what about a remake?
Who want's to gamble on the next Pokemon using NFC?
@blaznwiipspman1 It would be far more likely for the opposite to happen. A gaming device that would double as a Phone. Heck, that's already possible. The 3DS has games that allow you to have Video Chat with a friend. All it would take is to stick a phone number on it. That is, if a phone company would support it...
