@telaros *stands and vigorously begins cheerful clapping* I'm a longtime FF fan myself, and the series has been a major part of my gaming heart. But watching what Square has done to the series as of late has been like having a massive spear repeatedly rip through my heart. I never expected them to have so many failures in my lifetime. Even this annoucement just dissapoints me because you can almost expect that it's going to be another horrible game with the Final Fantasy title put on it.
I don't think this article had to be written in order to confirm that a new COD is coming out this year. In fact, you might as well just copy and paste this article next year and change the 3 to a 4.
@H4num4n @Aaronp2k I finished just because I felt some obligation to as a long time FF fan. But that was the last straw for me. I don't feel obligated to tolerate any more FF suckage.
The reality is they're not making quality products, and haven't done so for quite awhile. I've always been a die hard Final Fantasy fan, but they've taken the series way downhill, and the games that their fans have wanted are nowhere to be seen. Versus has been in development for over a century, and instead of getting the FFVII remake that fans will forever cry for, we get sequels to FF's that we never wanted and tons of spinoffs instead of true sequels to the games most fans really want (How many more Kingdoms Hearts are going to come out for DS and/or PSP before KH3 even starts being developed?). Final Fantasy will always have a special place in my gaming heart, but I gave up awhile ago waiting for Square to get back on track. I played The Last Story and accepted it as the next Final Fantasy that I been waiting for (Thank you Sakaguchi-san!). I don't expect another one.
Somebody sit this douchebagel down for a round of pac-man, then put a bullet in his head and ask him which "affected" him more. The blaming band wagon makes way too many rounds in this country, and politians hop the s$&t out of it to help secure re-elections. Apparently it works which is probably just as big a problem if not bigger than the issues with guns in America.
Most people can acknowledge that this is just a bulls#$t attempt by the NRA to point fingers in order to diffuse belief they are entitled to some blame for the violence that happens in this country. While the NRA isn't soley responsible for the gun violence in this country, It's pretty ridiculous for them to not feel remotely any responsibility for gun violence when they actively lobby for the right for everyone to own a gun. But what's really sad is I'm sure there are going to be plenty of politicians (of which I'm sure are getting fattened wallets by the NRA) that are certainly going to waste plenty of time and taxpayer money (yet again) to prove just how bad video games are.
