Yeah, that's not going to happen. MS is fooling themselves if they think they can grasp the Japanese market in any way. They're not even remotely capable of comprehending what Japanese consumers want. The way things are looking, it seems like they don't really understand what NA consumers want either.
As if the rumors surrounding Xbox One weren't bad enough before yesterday, It seems like every time a MS rep speaks now, they're shooting themselves in the foot with a AK-47. I'm not a huge fan of MS at all, but as a gamer I genuinely want them to give me a reason to buy their console, and they're not even coming close.
I'm very excited about this because I actually enjoyed Rift a lot when I played it during a trial, so I'll definitely be getting down on this for a bit when it goes F2P. I just can't bring myself to pay subscription fees for any MMO anymore.
Purchasers of SimCity will have a choice of several EA games for free which will include: Madden 2010, Madden 2011, or Madden 2012. To satisfy customers further, online DRM will not be an issue with these free game options since the servers were turned off five minutes after the games were originally released anyway.
