@tbird7586: Slowing down and taking it one movie/show at a time would help too. They've lost focus on simply making a good movie or TV show. It's like they're just following an MCU recipe with each movie and fans are basically saying that they're tired of the same recipe that's been used for the past decade or so.
I think of a movie like The Batman, which got to be it's own thing. It didn't look or feel like any other DCU or MCU movie. It did not have to worry about setting up other DC characters, stories, or movies. It was able to focus strictly on being a Batman movie. Doesn't mean everyone liked it, but I'm sure most people thought "this is different than most superhero movies these days."
@fox_fury: same thing that hurt the newer Star Wars trilogy. Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker both felt like movies written in response to online criticism.
If they are scrapping Kang, I hope they at least have a good way of writing him off instead of acting like he just disappeared or having some kind of throw away line. If they do go with Doom, they could easily have a scene with a CGI Kang being defeated by Doom. Gets rid of Kang while showing that Doom is a major threat.
@hardwenzen: funny enough, looking at screenshots reminded me of mass effect.
I'd like to give this game a go, but currently don't have a PS+ subscription so it's a bigger investment than simply purchasing the game. I know you can play single player but the fun seems to be in the multiplayer.
@Viper13579: The Show going multiplatform was more about the MLB than Sony. It wasn't about Sony wanting to share, it was the MLB not wanting to gate their flagship title to one platform.
We still haven't seen any indication from Sony that they have an interest in releasing other exclusives to different platforms, outside of PC. With Xbox, the writing has been on the wall that they're trying to expand beyond the Xbox platform. They've basically said that their goal is to have Game Pass available on as many platforms as possible, and this would be another step in that direction.
@hosedandhappy: Punk's ego and confrontational way of handling things wasn't a good mix with AEW and their wrestlers, who also have their own set of egos. Prior to signing Punk, AEW and Kahn never had to deal with a malcontent superstar that wasn't going to just be a team player, so they weren't prepared to handle the backstage incidents that Punk was involved in.
AEW bringing Punk in was like a young, up and coming sports team bringing in the older veteran who thinks he still the man (which might be true in the case of Punk. The fans certainly still believe it). It's a situation that can be great if everyone is on the same page or a disaster if egos get in the way, which is what happened. Punk with his ego and experience thinks he knows best while you have the younger AEW stars thinking it's their time, their company, and that they know how the business works. Add in the fact that Punk isn't afraid of conflict and won't just back down or let things go when it comes to disagreements or slights and you have a recipe for disaster.
WWE is a better situation. I think there is better management and control of the locker room. I also wonder if Punk will feel like the wrestlers in WWE are more on his level whereas he probably felt like he was above most of the wrestlers in AEW.
