PC gaming now use consoles controllers and Consoles gaming will pretty soon have PC Gaming's settings complexity...

The PS Portal goes into the same category as Google Stadia.

It satisfies a neeed nearly no one have/asked for.
I fear it is set to fail.
The best thing might be, like Google Stadia buying one and keep it brand new and sealed for its collecting value as it'll probably disappear sooner than later.

I always tought "perma-death" was a great idea until I lost a lvl 67 character in Diablo3 because crappy blizzard servers lagged...

Since that day I decided I'd reserve "Perma-death" feature for offline games.
