I picked up a pro on launch day only because I had yet to join this generation, but when I heard rumors of a faster PS4 I decided to wait and glad I did. While I don't know how it looks and performs on a 1080 set, what I can tell you is that it looks awesome on my Hisense 4K set, and I would definitely recommend upgrading. 4K tv's are not even expensive anymore and I got a 50" and nice sony soundbar for only $700. In the middle of playing Doom and this game is slick both performance and visuals, can only wonder what a patched Pro version would look like.

The Switch will not be a powerful console at all and people expecting differently will be disappointed. It will be using ARM Cortex cpu, Wichita is inferior to the already weak Jaguar and the GPU will be laughable compared to the vanilla twins, let alone Pro or Scorpio.
The funny part here is that the visuals can't actually be updated much on the Switch, it's that weak. Sorry Sheep your going from 350 gflops to maybe 550 in the Switch, and guess what you get with that miniscule upgrade, maybe better AA and a couple more fps.
The S is a nice revision but the only thing it has going for it is a 4K blu ray, and nice design. I picked up a pro and it's quiet and the design is sharp. Better hardware? not sure what you mean by that as its almost 3 times slower than the Pro. PS4 has always had built in power supply and it's UI is the fastest in the games, especially on the Pro.
@aravindprasath: The Switch will have around 550 GFLOPS of FP32 compute, 4GB of unknown Ramsey, and have CPU limitations. PS4 Pro (4200 GFLOPS) Scorpio (6000 GFLOPS) absolutely destroy this, not to mention their base models. Sorry there is no way you will get a PS4 level console on the go unless you don't mid wearing oven mitts. Having an 4G model also raises temps further, have you ever noticed your phone gets much warmer when on LTE than on wifi?
cool i guess? anyone expecting this thing to run current gen ports from PS4 or the Bone are in for a let down however. At it's maximum the Switch will be around 600 GFLOPS and that is not going to cut it. Scorpio(6,000 GFLOPS) PS4 Pro( 4,200 GFLOPS) Xbox One(1,320 GFLOPS) PS4 (1,840 GFLOS) Switch games may have to be sub 720 to handle it.
For me
1. Super Castlevania IV
2. Symphony of the Night
3. Rondo of Blood
4. Castlevania 64
5. Lament of Innocence
