Level system is broken for most people

Did you take a look at your level and wonder why it has updated yet? That's because GS is being lazy at fixing it, heck I'm still gaining percentage and most people aren't. Been happening for quite a while now. It makes no sense for this problem to keep happening like this, how do people level up on this site, lol.

Some of the things I got this week

Being the Max Payne fan I am, I have gotten the PC version of this game:

What impresses me is that even though it's the biggest game I have ever downloaded in my life at a whopping 29GBs, the time it took to download it was faster than expected.

Nearly 3 hours, wow.

I have also bought a new graphics card that should be here on Friday due to the 4th of July!

And it costed me $497.26, oh well at least I'm thinking about the future.

Prometheus

Theprequel to Alien has came and how does it stack up against it? Well, honestly it's not even that close, heck even Aliens is better than this. But compared to the other Alien movies is much better than them. The haunting visuals, excellent performance from characters like David and terrifying scenes make the movie worth a look while it does leave you more questions than you could possibly imagine and wanting a stronger story seeing how this is a prequle after all. I do like the movie but it certainly could be better in areas.

Also, there's going to be a 20-30 minute Prometheus Directors Cut which will add more to the film and I hope to see that.

More super hero talk

For the 1st time I actually bought an advanced ticket to see a movie, and it's The Dark Knight Rises. Yes, I'm so hyped for this movie, you have no idea guys, lol. This will be a day one for me like The Dark Knight. Also I need to see the new Spider Man, heck I have a wallpaper for it:

Level 63

Yes, after all this time I finally made it to one of the slowest levels ever a few days ago(like on the 22nd). Because of this, it'll be quite some time before I level up and even make a blog about that. Speaking of blogs...

Comment system

What are your thoughts on the comment system? Personally, I don't like change and how unfinished it is. What is this, Twitter/Facebook or something? I wonder if they even tested this before being implemented! Also, the 0 comment thing on every blog needs to be fixed, been far too long for this to happen! I hear some don't blog anymore because of this!

I think more will be delayed, but this is what we have so far! Honestly, I don't mind polish, but it makes you wonder how great 2012 could had been if these games came out. Funny thing is I wanted to try these games, well, most of them.

The Avengers Thoughts

Recently I saw this movie and I found it awesome and finally a great way to start off typical super hero movies that come at this time. From action to humor it does it extremely well and I wouldn't mind seeing it again and again, and IMO Iron Man stole the show for me! Though Black Widow is hot as hell.

Next up isPrometheus which is 2 weeks from now!

Sonic 4 Episodes 1 and 2

Recently I bought both of them and beaten them and found them decent and enjoyable but not fantastic games. I found the 2nd game to be an improvement in many ways though. The reviews are harsh on the games though but try them if you want, you don't always let reviews decide if you want to play certain games right?

I really need to blog more, that's why I want to do more rants about various topics like Call of Duty ruining gaming, nostalgia affecting the way we see games, DLC in general, about various movies and plenty moar, they will come soon so I'm hoping for a comeback!

Lol, I'm getting carried, got these recently, all on PC of course:

So I got 5 games this week(Mass Effect 3 and Killzone 3 were mentioned in the other blog).

So you're probably wondering why I'm getting so many games. Well, for one, I have the money to get them. Two, after the previous month of just replaying older games while barely getting any new ones, this is a breath of fresh air. Three, I enjoy gaming so that's another reason.

I will get some more money in a matter of days so I wonder what my next purchases will be, lol.

I also completed Killzone 3's campaign in one sitting, it's a little over 6 hours. I had a fun gamenight with some GS members on it recently.

As for Mass Effect 3, it's far more fast paced and more action oriented than the previous 2. I also like the multiplayer a lot, unexpected since I had no hype for it. It's like a fast paced Gears of War horde mode with some other objectives. I see myself playing this for days to come.

I forgot to mention that I have a youtube account, it's mitu123copper, but I didn't make it, my brother did. I want to upload vids on there someday. As for having copper in the name, well, more about that will be revealed later this month...

Horror movie series

Recently I watched the 7 Nightmare on Elm Street and 9 Friday the 13th movie series, and honestly, I prefer Freddy's movies to Jason's ones. I have yet to watch Freddy VS Jason and Jason X but I hope to soon. I also have another horror franchise to watch and give my thoughts on that later on.

I'm so busy this month, lol.

Some Xbox 720 rumors

Blocking used games-Microsoft is thinking about adding a feature to make used games unplayable. Um, I'm not sure how that will work seeing how every game will be used afterwards. Also wouldn't that hurt Gamestop(even though I haven't shopped there since 2010)?

Radeon 6670-Honestly, I hope this isn't true. I mean, for consoles it's powerful, but it's really a low-barely mid range card for today's games. Maybe development costs and the economy are having an effect on this. The Xbox and 360 are known to have the best/powerful gpus of the gen for consoles, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Blu Ray-This sounds possible, plus more storage is a great thing.

Kinect 2-Um, an upgraded version of Kinect? Ok.

Fall 2013-It's said to come out at that time as well, hope things change(GPU, fighting used games sales) while keeping things the same(Blu Ray).

Another hard game beaten

You know, some games just go over the edge. And that game is Double Dragon 3 on the NES. It is easily one of the hardest games ever. This here sums it all up:

"Was this game programmed by a human??? Good lord man this has to be one of the hardest games of all time, died over 40 times on this damn thing and most deaths were on the last stage. This game is evil. The game gives you one freaking life to make it through, I mean, really now, and you can only use one continue when you die on either the 4th or 5th stage. Combined with ruthless enemies like ninjas that jump all over the place, those buffed guys who throw spears at you, cheap mummies that are impossible to use standing attacks on forcing you to jump kick to ease the fights, enemies that get in your way through traps and enemies that gang up on you too much and a final boss that will make you cry and you have a game that doesn't show mercy. It's like you need to be near perfect in it. This game should had been in more Top 10 Hardest Nintendo games lists."

Even with that said, I prefer it over the crappy Arcade/Sega Genesis versions, those versions with cheap enemies and bosses and bland level design aren't really that fun. They're just stupid hard for the wrong reasons as you die constantly. The music in them are awful. The hit detection in the Genesis version is some of the worst I've seen, I kick an enemy 3 times, nothing happens and then he punches me, WTF game, and not to mention it has the least amount of music. The arcade version rips off your money forcing you to buy extra playable characters, power up your characters, weapons and such to beat the game. Same for the Genesis version, but the arcade version requires real quarters of course. In short they suck, lol.

I'm a Double Dragon fan so I just wanted to point that out, lol. I hated the cartoon show and movie as well and didn't like 5. But I like the 1st 2, 3 on the NES to some extent and the 4th one.

Anyways...

Metro Last Light is delayed to 2013, oh well, saves me money this year, lol.

Skyrim on PC is getting a Creation Kit soon. It allows mods to be easily accessed on Steam and such. Gives me more reasons to play, lol.

The Simpsons Arcade game is coming soon with 4 player online co-op. Oh I remember playing this awesome game back at the arcades in the 90s.

Alan Wake is coming to PC on the 16th for this month with a price of 30 bucks including the 2 DLC. I was going to get this game on 360, but I guess I'm glad my 360 broke in a way.:P

NetherRelam is thinking about doing other games than just Mortal Kombat. This is a good thing IMO, I would like to see them do a arcadey football game like Blitz again.

On the 16th I hit 57 and 58 on the same day. 57 was so short I never even saw it.:lol: I'm over 110k posts now.

New TOU

Now we all know it's around since late November-early December and the rules have changed. Flaming, trolling, censor bypassing and sexual content is allowed. This can lead to good and bad things. People like it, people hate it, but honestly I'm sick and tired of hearing about it. I don't need to be reminded of how much it sucks, this means the following:

Nothing has been done to change it yet which takes time anyways

I've heard more complaints about it as time goes by and I am tired of it, we know it sucks for you, just wait for something to happen later, I doubt it'll remain like this forever. Not to mention PM Jody and Synthia about it, and even they say they are working on it. I've heard about users leaving and such, which means there's a problem with it to them. I'm sorry it had to be that way for them, and I wouldn't like people leaving because of it, but just whining about it won't solve it, do something about it. So what flaws can happen with the new TOU? Well:

With flaming, that encourages users to be disrespectful for no reason and can cause problems among the community. Users shouldn't go around flaming people for no reason, there is no purpose in that and can change the ways users think. Even flaming someone who has done bad shouldn't be allowed because you haven't learned to control yourself with the situation. To be honest there shouldn't be any more flaming anyways. If you are fine with flaming, be my guess, but don't come crying to someone when you get flamed back. Speaking of that, reporting someone for flaming you can get you modded I think. Lol wut?

Trolling is another story. Why allow it? It allows little sense into minds and fool a lot of people. It should not be normal to do this at all. Being for trolling allows users to get around with this. It is tiring to see the same trolling attempts over and over and no one doing anything about it. Instead of being creative with it causes everyone to be the same and there's no fun in that because there isn't much to trolling. Lol, look at OT and SW for example. They don't even try anymore.

Censor bypassing is ridiculous. This site is PG-13 related and the f-bomb goes uncensored now in R-Unrated territory? Why is that? Along with other words like the b word and the s word and such. There are teens between 13-16 and they shouldn't be looking at words like that uncensored. Not to mention, some people still get modded for uncensored words, so what gives? Are the rules clear for this or what?

I've also heard of the "This is just like real life, get over it." Yeah, well, do you curse in school or church like that? Do people troll and flame other people a lot? I'm sure there's a huge difference between posting on a forum and offline. Even if people do the things suggested, it wouldn't be the same.

I can see people liking the new TOU for less strict rules, but I'm sure not everyone likes this direction and prefers the old one. There has to be a middle ground, but I don't think it was meant to please everyone. I'm guessing this is a test for now.

I do like the sexual content and some users brought back though.:P

1st, the games I got this week.

And now for my new specs:

I tested it 1st on Crysis Warhead and I'm blown that I get far higher and more steady FPS than I would with my previous cpu, big difference. Wil try the other games, but if I'm averaging 40-80FPS maxed out on this game then I can imagine the others, lol. And I haven't even overclocked it yet.

I have honeslty missed Intel, lol. The last time I had a new PC from them was in 2006, but of course my 1st PC was from them in 2001. I'm not sure why I waited so long. Maybe cause I was cheap, who knows, lol, but I'm glad to be back.

1st blog of 2012 here we go. Man, I hate Level 56, feels so long, lol.

Updates on games from Christmas

So far I like all of them. I have 8 hours on Batman Arkham City and still isn't done with it. I'm at Chapter 16 in Uncharted 3 and there's 22 in total, so it'll be the 1st game done in 2012 mostly likely.

But Skyrim, oh man this game. I have done the main quest in 14 hours, but still can't stop playing it thanks to the side quests, the damn game is addictive. I'm now 23 hours in at Level 19 with 43 quests done. Seeing how there's like 100 some quests in total, I feel as though I still have a long ways to go. If it weren't for this damn game I would be done with the other games sooner, lol. I will continue to play it this week and see how far I get in it.

So in short of what games I like the most to least so far: Skyrim>Batman Arkham City>Uncharted 3, IMO at least.

Games to get in 2012

2012 is looking good for games. I'll make a list if what I would most likely try to play:

GTA V, Tomb Raider, Jak Collection, Borderlands 2, Soul Calibur 5, Metro Last Light, Diablo 3, Devil May Cry Collection, Mass Effect 3, The Last of Us, Max Payne 3, Star Craft 2: Heart of the Swam, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Ninja Gaiden 3, Dead or Alive 5, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and probably some more.

Note that I had forgotten to list Twisted Metal, a game that comes after my b-day. Alan Wake is coming to the PC, and I wanted to try it on my 360, but since that's still broke until I bother to fix it, I'll make due with the PC version, plus it's the better version anyways. There are other games I haven't listed yet though.

Depending on my money, I can get 4 new releases per month, more if I have any money left. I'm going to need it.:lol:

I still have some 2011 games to get, lol.

Movies to watch in 2012

I want to see The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, The Cabin in the Woods, Prometheus, The Amazing Spider Man, Total Recall remake and some more.

What to get?

Since I have quite a great amount of money now, might as well list what I will get in future blogs.
