A job in visual effects, video production, motion graphics or a film director. I'm only 16 so my options are pretty open... I used to make videos on sony vegas a few years ago but I got fed up with it since I had a slow computer and haven't reinstalled anything recently.  since then i've just watched tutorials for programmes I don't have/can't run :P but I still enjoy it and i'm more educated I guess. The real 'dream' part of this job would be having a youtube channel where I could do what I wanted instead of working for a company but I don't know where to start really. I'm also not sure if I should go to university with this or not since you can just learn yourself but yeah...

other notible mentions are creative designer for a game dev, writer for a tech site and (since i've been watching a lot of dexter) a police detective or something of the sorts :P

It's quite funny actually, all the ps4 pre-orders sold out so every shop is advertising the xbox one instead :lol: wonder if the average consumer knows a ps4 is even coming

Seannaners is okay, the main annoyance for me was that the trouble in terrorist town community turned into complete crap after his (and subsequently other youtubers') videos got really popular. It's not that I don't like something being popular but there was so much RDM (random killing) and noobs about that it was unplayable for a good while and there wasn't enough servers to cater to the amount of people trying to play - not to mention the amount of kids singing down the mic over everybody (everybody being another 3 people all trying to say something at once)

Totalbiscuit done a great video on used games but that's all i've really seen of him, he's a bit of an asshole on twitter too but I guess he sells himself on being cynical

Angry joe is alright too I guess... but these are my opinions, for the majority i'd say its that they don't understand why they're popular and think they do so little for a living and get jealous. The popular gaming channels seem to cover pretty similar games too, it was minecraft and now it'll be endless cubeworld playthroughs - it gets annoying seeing the same thing everywhere (but I do watch a few channels) and the fans of these guys are usually young and the comments section is a really really terible place... but yeah. It's probably the easiest thing on youtube to just do commentary over games and other content creators that aren't as popular but put more effort in probably get a bit bitter about their popularity too.

i'm on my first playthrough of demon souls and i'm finding it very... restrictive? I thought it would be more open but it's rather 'level' based with a few other routes here and there that you might want to go back to. think i'm gunna finish it once and go straight to dark souls. also, any news on if they're adding anything to the dark souls 2 multiplayer?

I can't help but feel like this movie was filmed in literally 2 different rooms...

avoiding reading anything about this as i'm so excited but have a slightly unrelated question: where can I watch the new episodes as they come out in the UK other than some horrible stream link?

I think i'd be content with not having a partner for the rest of my life. All I really want for the future is a small place to live with lots of money left over for travelling, electronics, concerts/festivals and a decent social life. then again i'm 16 and what i want will probably change.

People don't like companies being greedy, however if they can get away with it there is very little reason for them not to be. I agree with you in a way but it's still frustrating because stuff like this never happened before in previous gens, I think it's something we'll need to get used to unfortunately. I actually think there are advantages to dlc, not quite the same thing you were talking about but for example I doubt battlefield 3 would be free on ps+ if they didn't have loads of dlc for people to buy after getting the core game for basically free.
