I'm baaaaaack!

Yeah, just got back from vacation. Lots of fun stuff. Most of it on the tv at the motel. ^_^ No, I had fun doing other stuff, but i got to see lots of stuff I wouldn't normally see at home because they had full cable!! Took me a little while to find CN, but I got it in the end. Saw my first full episode of Avatar, and it was also a world premire movie! Damn, that was GOOD! I had seen bits and pieces before, but not much. Sokka reminded me of Fubuki, which then made me think Katara was like Asuka, and then that Aang was like Judai. Which had me waiting for some Katara x Aang the whole hour. And I did get some! Yay! Aang was freaking scary at the end, though. I didn't realize he liked the sky bison that much...
I also saw my first Zatch Bell! I didn't like it that much, though. It was okay, but I was kind of bored. Reminded me of Digimon, to be honest. Only more boring.
And I also saw Power Rangers. But that was just for laughs. And it was Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. To me, there aint no other rangers but the original ones. All these new ones are just poor imitations.
And I also saw Digimon!!! WHOO!!! Second series, but still, DIGIMON!!

And finally, I read last September's SJ. (Where Sasuke fights that guy who works for Orochimaru, Mahado dies and becomes DM, Hikaru becomes an insei, Yusuke fights that lame guy who was beating up Kurama, and some other stuff I didn't have time to read. I was in a library and it was closing)

Today, I was talking to a friend, and they said they saw an AMV on a CD, and don't know where they got the CD. The song was Coldplay's "Yellow" and there was a teenage guy with black hair, a teenage girl with short brown hair, and a little girl with pink hair. And somewhere in the video, the black haired guy konked the pink haired girl on the head. That's all she remembers. Anyone ever see an AMV like that? She's not an anime fan, so she couldn't tell me the anime.

And finally, check this website: http://brindedcow.umd.edu/anti4kids/

It was in Spaction3's blog, which I found when I was looking at RB's blog. (I think it was you, RB...) Or just check Spaction3's blog. I told him that I'd tell my friends about this t-shirt because it was so amazing. THIS IS NOT MY WEBSITE! Make sure you know that. I don't want credit when it's not due. Again, check Spaction3's blog.

Yesterday was Bastille Day! So happy belated Bastille Day!

Going away

Hey guys! I'm not going to be here for the next 3 or 4 days, and I thought you should know. Of course, there's only like 3 people that read this... oh well. We're going on a short vacation, so I'll be back Saturday. Still haven't finished the fic, sorry RB. I keep getting writers block. Look at it this way, when I finish it, I won't have anything else to post. So at least you still have something to look forward to for now.

Yesterday was a month since the end of Yugioh!

Random thought of the week: Mugged cows

I work at a library, right? So on Sunday, I was working. Theres a summer reading program, and the theme this year is animals. Every week has its own specific type of animal theme, and on Sunday, it was barnyard animals. So (I work in the children's department) we had these three cows made out of shoeboxes with cow-patterned fabric and construction paper. Some little kid mugged the cows. That's right, mugged the cows! He stole their bells and broke their legs.

See you on Saturday!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Yay! I saw Pirates 2 today, so consequently, all of my forum posts will probably mention something from Pirates of the Caribbean. For those who have seen the movie, please post your comments on the ending. WTF?! I was NOT expecting that!!! Well, when she said "world's end" I realized how the movie would resolve, (it also helped that there was only like 5 minutes left in the movie) but the person that showed up at the end-- WHOA!! And a little eariler, but still pretty close to the end, what that one character did to that other character that made the 3rd person mad at the first one, and probably mad at the second one too because the 3rd one didn't see WHY the first one did what they did... @_@ yeah, is that confusing enough? It's hard to write spoiler-free. Anyway, Pirates was AMAZING!! (Not as amazing as Wicked, but still pretty damn amazing!)

"Pirates" tomorrow!!

Sorry, RB, I didn't have time to write today either. A friend invited me to stay over at her house tonight and go see Pirates 2 with her tomorrow. So I'm just dashing this off to tell you that I didn't finisht the fic today. (I went to Borders and read all day and only bought 1 book. ^_^;;; I got to read a bunch of Inuyasha, though. I'm up to volume 9 now. And up to Kenshin 8)

I hope everyone enjoys Pirates of the Caribbean! Captain Jack Sparrow! Yay!

For Good

Darn it... my Windows Media Player played "For Good" (the song in my signature (and from Wicked) and made me think of Yugioh ending again!!

Anyway, I'm sorry RB, but I had work today and didn't have time to finish the fic! But I don't work tomorrow, so I WILL FINISH IT! I promised I'd finish it by April 23rd, then by the end of Yugioh, and then by June 23rd and now it's still not done. ::sigh::

I just fiinished dueling (and losing) to kagome. He's pretty good. If he would just not shove it down people's throats, he'd be more liked. I probably should've been nicer to him, too...

Wicked (the book) had a sequel! Son of a Witch. I would highly reccommend both of the books to anyone who's cool enough to be in a summer reading club at their local libaray. Yeah. That's right. I said COOL enough! Libaries are cool! (Or I'm just very insecure about working at a library... ^_^;;; ) But seriously, they're both REALLY good books. However, I must lend a word of caution. Wicked is adult. Very adult. But I know you guys are all mature teens, so you can handle it.

Since I'm talking about books, anyone have any reccomendations? Once I finish Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, I'll have nothing to read. I prefer reccommended books to random ones.

Writers' Block

I'm sorry, RB. I sat down at my computer to write and I got the biggest case of writers' block I've had since last year when I was trying to finish my other fic. I know what's going to happen, I can't just can't think of how to say it. So... I have no fic for you today. Sorry.

Hey, we're having a pretty good HP discussion in my post from a few days ago, so I will ask everyone who reads this: Who do YOU think is going to die in the last Harry Potter book? I think Harry and Voldemort. And if someone else has to die, Lupin.

Happy Independance Day!

Chapter 6!

Yay! It only took me half an hour to write this part! (Of course, I only wrote the conversation, and I didn't include any of the details that I was planning in my head. And now I have to write all of chapter 7. Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow!)

 Happy reading!

Mai and Shizuka finally made it to the duel. The elevator doors opened and they ran forward, but stopped short when they saw Jonouchi hanging from the stone.
 "Oni-chan!" Shizuka cried. "Oni-chan!!"
Mai stood in shock. It took a moment for her to fully register what was happening. After that moment, she tore up the steps of the dueling platform and across the field to Jonouchi.
 "Jonouchi!" she cried. "Jonouchi!"
He blearily opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Jonouchi," she said relieved. "Are you okay?"
He just kept looking at her--or rather, through her. He didn't say anything. She put her hand on his unhurt shoulder and got his attention.
 "Mai..." he whispered.
"It's okay," she said. "I'm here."
"Get away from me," he said coldly.
 "Wha... Jonouchi--" she started.
 "Get away!"
She backed up a step. "What are you talking about?"
"I don't want you here. Just... go." He turned his head away from her.
  "Jou--"
 "GO!" Jonouchi cried.
She backed up some more. "Why are you saying these things? It's not like you... what happened? Talk to me, Jonouchi--"
He lowered his head. "Dammit, just LEAVE!"

Across the field, Malik happily watched Mai and Jonouchi's conversation play out.
"Ha ha!" He thought. "It's so pathetic! I almost hate to end his torture, but..." He looked at Ra. "It's time."
"Sun god Ra!" Malik called. "Attack!"

At the sound of Malik's voice, Mai turned around. The attack ripped across the field. She turned back around to look at Jonouchi.
"I didn't mean it. I'm sorry," he said, through tears.
"No!" Mai cried. The attack blazed past her, to Jonouchi.
He didn't cry out in pain, as he had before. The force of it slammed him against the stone, and pinned him there, until after what felt like hours, the attack finally ended. Jonouchi's life points fell to zero.

 "I win," Malik chuckled.

The fog of the Dark Game faded, (but it was so dark by now it made little difference) and with it, Ra and the stone. Jonouchi fell  heavily to the ground.
As soon as the dueling platform was low enough to climb onto, Shizuka raced up the steps and across the field to Jonouchi.
"Oni-chan!" Shizkua cried as she kneeled next to her brother. He didn't respond. Mai gently turned him over so he laid face-up, and tried not to look at his maimed shoulder. Anzu ran up the steps on the near side of the field; Honda, Otogi and Yugi just climbed up the side, but Mai heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw Malik slowly advancing, the dagger of the millennium rod unsheathed in his left hand. While everyone else knelt down by Jonouchi, she stood up and faced Malik. He stopped.
"Get out of my way," Malik chuckled. Mai didn't answer, but stood her ground.
"Move. I'm going to kill him," he said. "If he isn't dead already--"
"Shut up," Mai cut in. Malik grinned maliciously.
"You think you're going to stop me," he said, now looking at the dagger. "How noble. But you forget," he said, meeting her glare, and switching the dagger to his right hand. "I killed you once. I'll do it again!" He raised the dagger. Mai closed her eyes. Malik laughed evily, and brought the dagger down.
After a few seconds, nothing happened, and Mai opened her eyes. Malik wrenched his arm from Yugi's grasp.
"Get out of here," Yugi said threateningly. "Now."
Malik maneuvered the dagger in his hand, as if to stab Yugi too. The millennium puzzle glowed, and Malik went flying across the field.
"I said get out of here!" Yugi roared. Malik picked himself up, and smirking, left the field.

Yay! Now I must go and write chapter 7 for you!

Is Harry gonna die?!

I was watching the news last night, and they were talking about Harry Potter 7 again (when are we going to get the name of it?!) and this ridiculous "Harry's gonna die" stuff. (I also wanted to talk about it because AP said the Reruns thread got closed because you were talking about HP) First off, of course there's a possiblity Harry might die! What's so shocking about it? However, there are A LOT more main characters than Harry. Let's see here: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, Bill, Mr. Weasly, Mrs. Weasly, Draco, Hagrid, Snape, Lupin, Voldemort, Fleur, the Durselys, Neville, Luna. That's all I can think of for now. That's what... ::counts:: 20! He's got a one in ten chance of dying. So stop saying that he's gonna die like it's some big surprise, or don't say it at all! (that was directed at the news people, not you guys :))

And now, RB, here's most of chapter 6 from my fic. I say, "most of" because I'm seriously thinking of changing what happens at the end of it. But no matter what I decide, you'll have fic tomorrow, don't worry. ;)

Ch. 6

Jonouchi struggled to get to his feet, but his shoulder gave a spasm of pain and he fell back down. Malik laughed.
"Give it up, Jonouchi. You can't keep dueling like this," he said. "Why prolong your torture? I'll kill you either way."
Jonouchi ignored the pain in his shoulder and chest and managed to stand up. "You shut up," he said weakly "I'm not done yet."
"Jonouchi, stop! You don't have to prove anything! Just stop the duel!" Honda yelled. Jonouchi ignored him.

"Other me!" Yugi called to his other self. "We have to do something! I know we promised Jonouchi-kun, but if he keeps dueling..."
"No, aibou." The other Yugi said to his partner.
 "But... he'll die!"
"I know, but... we..." he trailed off. It sounded so stupid now. Jonouchi was about to die, he couldn't just sit back and do nothing!
 "Please... other me..." Yugi pleaded.
"He won't listen. But you can try," he relented.

"Jonouchi-kun, listen to me!" Yugi yelled, in place of his other self. Everyone stopped and looked at Yugi, suprised.
"You have to stop this! Jonouchi-kun, if you keep dueling, you'll die!"
 "Yugi..." Jonouchi started.
 "Please... just stop."
Jonouchi sighed. "Yugi... what would you do?"
 "What?" Yugi asked.
"If you were dueling right now instead of me, would you stop? Or would you keep dueling?" Jonouchi said.
"I..." Yugi hesitated to answer. <i>"I would keep dueling," he thought. "Jonouchi-kun's right. Other me..."</i> With a flash, the other Yugi appeared, and looked at Jonouchi.
"Mou hitori no Yugi... are you going to tell me to stop, too?" Jonouchi asked.
"I agree with my partner," he said. "But it's your duel, Jonouchi-kun. It's up to you."
 Jonouchi nodded.
"This is all very entertaining," Malik interrupted. "But are you going to keep dueling or not?"
Jonouchi glared at him. "I already told you to shut up. It's my turn." He drew his card. "I play Giant Trunade," he said. All the facedown cards on the field vanished. "And since Axe of Despair is gone, Makyura's back down to 1600. So..." He threw a monster card on to his duel disk. "I summon Panther Warrior! Then I add Scapegoat, and sacrifice a sheep token so Panther Warrior can attack your Makyura!"
4 colorful sheep appeared on the field nest to Panther Warrior. One disappeared for the sacrifice. Panther Warrior gripped its sword with both hands and cut Makyura in half. Malik flinched as his life points fell to 1600. And just as quickly he smirked again.
"Bad move, Jonouchi. When Makyura's detroyed, I get to play a trap from my hand. And I chose this: Call of the Haunted!"
 <i>"Dammit, he's right,"</i>" Jonouchi thought. <i>"That was a stupid mistake. I can't concentrate... Hell, I can barely stand..." </i>
Makyura reappeared on the field, thanks to Call of the Haunted.
"And now it's my turn, Jonouchi. I re-play Axe of Despair, this time on Zombyra the Dark! It had 1900 attack points, so now it has 2900. Zombyra, attack his Panther Warrior!"
Zombyra slashed through Panther Warrior with the axe. Jonouchi's life points fell to 200.
 "Turn end," Malik said.
Jonouchi shakily drew his card. "I set a monster face-down," he said weakly. "Turn end."
Malik drew his card. "This is it, Jonouchi," Malik said. "The final turn. I flip Cyber Jar!"
Malik's long-forgotten face-down monster flipped up to reveal Cyber Jar. It opened its eye and sucked all monsters on the field into it, then imploded.
"All monsters are destroyed, and we each pick up 5 cards, summoning anything with 4 stars or less." Both Malik and Jonouchi picked up 5 cards.
Jonouchi looked at his cards: Jinzo, Roulette Spider, Legendary Fisherman, Gamble, and Alligator's Sword. <i>"Dammit... I can only play one monster,"</i> Jonouchi thought. "I summon Aliigator's Sword!" he said.
"Only one monster? I summon 5!" Malik yelled. The monsters appeared as he called their names. "Holding Arms, Holding Legs, Gilgarth, Drillago, and Plasma Eel!"
 "Oh no..." Jonouchi said fearfully.
"You should be afraid. First, Holding Legs returns your face-down card to your hand," Malik said. Jonouchi's lone face-down card disappeared from the field. "Next, since I have both Holding Arms and Legs, I think you know what happens."
"Malik-chan, you bastard..." Jonouchi whispered. Of course he knew what the cards did. Holding Arms and Legs flew towards him. He could tell from the shadow that the Stone was already there. The Stone... his mind flooded with memories of the night before...
 <i>"'Who's there?'"<i>
Holding Arms clamped around his wrists and dragged him to the stone. He made no effort to stop them.
 <i>"'Look into my eyes... it's me!'"<i>
Holding Arms slammed Jonouchi against against the stone. Jonouchi yelled in pain. He coughed and tasted something metallic.
 <i>"'Forget about me! Just go!'"<i>
Holding Legs attached themselves, too. Now Jonouchi couldn't move at all.
 <i>"'Listen Jonouchi, don't be a hero! Just go!'"<i>
Jonouchi hung his head. Blood dripped down his chest.
 <i>"'Look, I'm staying right here.'"<i>

Malik laughed manically. "Oh, the irony! Now, I sacrifice my three remaining monsters to summon..." he paused to slap the card onto his duel disk. "The Sun Dragon Ra!!" He laughed again. "Now, die! Ra, attack his monster and kill him!"
A sphere of light started forming in the arch on Ra's back.  "Mai... I... just wanted..." Jonouchi said softly. "To see you again... to tell you... that... I..." He choked up as a lone tear ran down his face.

I wonder what he wanted to say... :D Oh, and I'm sorry for using dub quotes in a fic based on Japanese canon! I didn't know what they said in Japanese! I'm sorry!

Spider Rider and chapter 5

I saw my first episode of Spider Rider today. If I had known they were having 2 hours of it, I would've woke up earlier. But I saw the last one. The first 2 minutes, I was bored, but it got a little better. Too predictable, though, and the mouthflaps left a big pause between the words "spider" and "rider" and that got annoying, and it's kind of a combo of Pokémon/Megaman/any show where they transform, including, but not limited to, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Magic Knights Rayearth. Yugioh never had any of that cookie-cutter superhero transforming stuff. (well, they probably do in Capmon, but I haven't seen that yet) Maybe if I had seen the first episode, I'd like it more. It was okay, though.

Yay! We made it to chapter 5! (There's only 7 chapters. And I still have to write one of them. Which I will do tomorrow) Enjoy! (this picks up where chapter 3 left off, which was a couple of blog posts ago)

Ch. 5

Parshath gripped the sword with both hands and pulled it out with a sickening sound. Jonouchi cried out in pain, and staggered backward. Blood splattered on the ground. Parshath's sword had left a huge gash in his left shoulder. Blood dripped down his arm; he held the wound with his other hand to try to staunch it. His knees threatened to buckle as he trembled with pain.
"Jonouchi!" Honda yelled again. Jonouchi didn't answer. Anzu stifled a scream. Yugi still had his eyes closed, but it didn't matter. He'd seen it already from the tauk.
"Stop the duel!" Otogi yelled to Isono. "He needs help!"

 "No."

Everyone looked at Jonouchi. He staggered back to where he'd been standing. "I'm still dueling," He said, pained.
"But--!" Otogi began, but Yugi cut him off.
"No. Jonouchi-kun wants to finish the duel," he said, finally opening his eyes and looking at the ground. Everyone stared at him.
 "Yugi-kun..." Anzu said.
"We can't interfere..." Yugi said. No one said anything else.

"You want to keep dueling, Jonouchi?" Malik chuckled. "You're more foolish than I thought."
"You shut up, Malik-chan," Jonouchi said.
"Fine. Since Parshath damaged your life points, I get to draw one card." Jonouchi's life points dropped to 1600. Malik's were still at 2200. Malik took the card he drew and placed it in his duel disk. "I'll set one card face-down, and end my turn," Malik said.
Jonouchi carfully drew his card. <i>"You want me to quit, Malik-chan... you think you can just toy with me like that, and I'll give up... I only agreed to stop one attack. I can still win this duel. I won't die here. Not like this."</i> He stood up straight.
"Since your turn's over, I get Airknight Parshath back," Jonouchi said. Airknight Parshath walked over from Malik's side of the field to Jonouchi's. "And your Sword of Deep-Seated is still equipped to him."
"Not that it matters," Malik said. "I activate Nightmare Wheel!"
 <i>"No!"</i> Jonouchi thought.
Malik read his expression. "That's right, Jonouchi. Nightmare Wheel." Nightmare Wheel appeared on the field, with Parshath cruelly chained to it. "Your monster can't do anything, and you lose life points!" He laughed.
"Damn it... I set a monster in defense mode!" Jonouchi said. "Turn end."
Malik gleefully drew his card and said, "And now, you lose 500 life points from Nightmare Wheel." Nightmare Wheel started spinning. Parshath roared in pain. Jonouchi groaned as his life points fell to 1100.
"Now, I'll play Card of Sanctity!" Malik said, once Nightmare Wheel had stopped spinning.
Both Jonouchi and Malik drew cards.
"But the fun doesn't stop there," Malik said. "I think I'll summon Makyura the Destructor, and attack your face-down monster!"
Makyura appeared and stabbed Jonouchi's face-down card. Little Winguard materialized, blocking Makyura's claws with its shield.
"Nice, Malik-chan. You attack my Little-Winguard, which has 1800 defense points. Makyura can't do anything, and you lose life points!" Jonouchi said.
Malik's life points went to 2000. "Very funny, Jonouchi," he said. "Oh well, no big deal. I set three cards facedown. Turn end."
"My turn," Jonouchi said. He placed a card in the duel disk. "I play Mystical Space Typhoon on your Nightmare Wheel."
Nightmare Wheel shattered, and Airknight Parshath was realeased.
"And now that I have my monster back," Jonouchi said, and pointed to Makyura "I can attack yours!"
Parshath ran at Makyura, sword drawn.
"Forgetting something?" Malik said, pressing a button on his duel disk. One of his face-down cards flipped up. "I activate Sakuretsu Armor!"
Oversized gray armor appeared on Parshath, stopped its attack, and destroyed it.
"Such a foolish mistake, Jonouchi. And you were dueling so well before," Malik said.
"I set two cards face-down," Jonouchi said. "Turn end."
Malik drew his card. "I play Axe of Despair on Makyura!" A sinister-looking axe appeared in the air. Makuyra grabbed it, and its attack rose a thousand points to 2600.
"Next, I set a monster face-down. Now attack, Makyura!" Makyura ran forward and cut the Winguard in half.
 "Turn end," Malik said.
<i>"He's backed me into a corner..." Jonouchi thought, examing his cards and the field. Malik had two cards face-down,  Makyura with Axe, and one set monster. Jonouchi had two face-down cards. "I won't lose any life points this turn, but he'll control the field. This is all I can do."</i> He took a card from his hand and threw it on the duel disk. "I set a monster. Turn end," Jonouchi said.
"Is that all? You've lost your touch, Jonouchi," Malik said. "And this duel. I summon Zombyra the Dark!" He slapped the card on his duel disk, and a tall, zombie-like monster with a cape stepped onto the field. "Go, Zombyra! Attack his face-down monster!"
Zombyra lept into the air, came down, and punched through Jonouchi's set monster. Swordsman of Landstar briefly appeared, then shattered from Zombyra's attack.
"And now, Makyura, attack his life points directly!" Malik shouted.
Makyura moved the axe to its left hand, and ran at Jonouchi, right arm outstretched. "I win," Malik said.
"You wish, Malik-chan," Jonouchi said. "I activate Waboku! All damage I take is reduced to zero this turn. You wasted an attack," Jonouchi said.
"Oh, did I?" Malik said. "Look closer."
Makyura raised its clawed fist, and brought it down on Jonouchi's chest. Jonouchi's eyes widened in pain, and he cried out again. Makyura jumped back. Blood dripped down its claws.
"I don't have to lower your life points to hurt you, Jonouchi," Malik cackled.
Jonouchi fell to his knees, Malik's laughter ringing over his friends' cries.

It's July!

I already posted tonight, but I was sitting here, posting on the boards, and my clock hit midnight, and I thought "It's July 1st." So I wanted to post and say, it's July!    Less than two months till school starts. And no more Yugioh!! EVER! I still can't get my mind around that... Darnit, I was all happy before about Idina Menzel and Sebastian Arcelus being together on broadway (I don't know why, it just made me happy) and now I'm all sad thinking about school. But few people will see this because I only have 8 friends! I tried to add more today, but every time I clicked "track this person" nothing happened. And I'm rambling. I'll shut up now.
