@xxmavr1kxx: I actually liked the idea of the location, offering some more open area and interesting things to explore. Detailing everything the first game does better would be a ridiculously huge post for a comment section, but I suppose I can go over some of the things that killed it for me.
Firstly, the endgame is probably the most significant. I don't like that they funnel everyone into 3 classes. I suppose that works for people that want a simpler experience, but I will always prefer more complexity in character building.
Secondly, the mods are almost all garbage. Modding your guns was a significant part of the first game, but it's usually better to leave your gun stock in 2 because the negatives aren't worth it.
Adding onto that, scopes are nearly useless. In the first game you toggled the scope with the right thumbstick while aiming, but in 2 your only choices are hipfire or scope. There was at least one thread in the beta forum where an Ubi rep was actually replying to this issue, but they kind of seemed confused. Whether they were purposely deflecting or honestly weren't familiar with the mechanics and were struggling to grasp what people were complaining about is up for debate, but I don't think the conversation led anywhere. If they finally changed this, then that's great and I retract this criticism, but that's how it was the last time I played.
Special ammo isn't a consumable anymore, it's instantly applied when found. It also disappears if you try to save it by unequipping a weapon. I saw this brought up several times, and went completely ignored every time so I have to presume this is an intentionally stupid decision and isn't going to be reversed.
Half the perks are crap, by the end of the betas you could have almost every perk that was even remotely useful. This probably is directly related to their endgame plan, their intent to make things simple.
The capturable strongholds were a fantastic addition, but the rest of the beta was inferior to the original. I'll be passing on this one, which is a shame because I was pretty hyped. Hopefully it does well enough that Division 3 happens and doesn't suck.
@darkhunterix: Probably more like Nadella knows what a turd W10 is and has forced Xbox division to prop it up. Everybody answers to somebody, even Phil.
Also, SoD2 is great. Maybe a little buggy, but zombie fans like it. I'd say the market for zombie games has perhaps shrunk a bit in recent years, just look at Dying Light 2 comments and you'll notice some burnout, but for the zombie lovers the game has been a boon.
I will withhold judgment until the game drops. I don't like the vast majority of "mobile" gaming, but there's already a mobile racing sim, Assoluto Racing, that includes support for controllers and is actually pretty good. I don't like every design choice T10 makes (homologation, anyone?), but when you strip down all the window dressing and get the cars onto the road, the core games are still solid. Hopefully there will be a decent racing game underneath all the mobile.
