Back from Cebu

I never told you guys that I was leaving for Cebu (Except MistressMinako) but I'll tackle it in this blog :D

First off, let me tell you guys about the place we stayed at. It's called Maribago Bluewater Resort and it was a really lovely place. Really friendly people, decent food and nice rooms. It's also got a lovely beach and the resort is full of plants which really makes it look great. There is a spa and fitness area and some massage huts where you can just relax or get fit. The place has 3 restaurants, an italian restaurant (under renovation when we were there :( ), a seafood restaurant and the main restaurant which serves international food. The food wasn't fantastic but it's not bad either, it's just decent and tasty. Oh and did I mention the place has 3 swimming pools? Pretty cool haha. All in all I give the place an 8/10, the best thing about the resort is that it's not too commercialised and it's full of nature. It's not some big hotel with the garden and pool at the bottom floor, instead the rooms are all scattered around the resort and sort of blend with the surroundings. A very lovely place indeed.

Aside from Maribago, we also visited other resorts like Shangri La and Plantation Bay. Shangri La was fantastic and very luxurious but also very expensive same with Plantation. Shangri La has a big garden and a very nice beach and the hotel looks amazing, then again it's Shangri La what do you expect? Plantation was also very nice and had lots of activities for you to do such as archery, rock climbing, swimming and canoeing but it's too big in my opinion. It's pretty much a giant pool with rooms around it and trust me, the pool is MASSIVE and the resort is also big. The resort has some jeep that takes you around the place haha. Anyway I'll list down prices so you guys know how expensive it is:

Shangri La - $270 a night
Plantation Bay - $230 a night
Maribago Bluewater - $130 a night

So yeah, you can see why we stayed in Maribago haha but if only we had the money to burn. Shangri La would've been AWESOME! :P

Aside from checking out the resorts, we also checked out the malls in Cebu. Ayala and SM we're cool and much better than what we have here in Angeles :cry: I won't get into detail about the malls, the malls there are kinda like the malls in Manila. Just read my blog about Manila and you'll get the whole picture.

Gaming Progress

Rock Band 2 - Still moving up on expert. Downloaded Times Like These, DOA, Behind Blue Eyes, YYZ, Don't Stop Believing, and Snow ((Hey Oh)). Beat them all except Snow ((Hey Oh)) :(

Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop - Still on overtime and slowly finishing the game.

DrumMania - Tried this in Cebu and it was pretty awesome :lol: Had a blast on it but it was too easy. I didn't know how to change the difficulty :(

What game should I get?

Would rather put this under Gaming Progress than make a new topic about it :P

Anyway, what game should I get? I'm choosing between:
No More Heroes - $29
or
Call of Duty World at War - $37
Mind you, I'm getting a game for the Wii and Wii only. Most of you already know I'm a Wii only owner so yeah. Or do you think I should skip both and get something else like MadWorld or House of the Dead Overkill? Or wait for Klonoa or Conduit to come out? Thanks to anyone that helps :D

Just another blog to wrap up some stuff I did this week, my last blog was unsuccesful probably due to the size so I'll try to keep this one shorter. Read on!

Some gamers can be such dicks!

I was just minding my own business last night when all of a sudden some guy on MSN started chatting with me, the convo went something like this:

Guy: lol you bought Dead Rising Wii?
Me: I loved it when I played it on the 360 so I got it on the Wii
Guy: I rented it and it sucks. It's trying to be an RPG
Me: Don't like it huh? and uhm, 360 had leveling too.
Guy: Lots of people don't. It's Resident Evil 4 in a mall that sucks.
Me: I'd say otherwise, I know quite a few people who enjoy the game.
Guy: Yeah only a few, I know a lot who don't like it. I don't even know why you'd buy the Wii version, the 360 version is better and you can get for much less!
Me: It's not fair to compare both games, 360 is more on the melee weapons while the Wii is more on the gunplay. You don't hear people complaining about RE4 being released for the 3rd time on the Wii because the game is great and I love it too.
Guy: If it was $20 why not? but it's full priced lol. Capcom is taking advantage of Wii owners
Me: How about MadWorld? It's a full priced game but only 5 hours I hear. I'll be damned along with HotD Overkill
Guy: MadWorld is good but not that good. Only thing you can get from the Wii version is the story if nothing else
Me: I actually enjoyed this game along with the 360 version
Guy: riiiiiight. I understand why it's getting bad reviews from all gaming sites.
Me: I don't care if they give it a bad review, I enjoy the game along with other Wii owners and that's all that matters. I even know some 360 DR fans who bought this game and enjoyed it
Guy: riiiiiight, I don't even know why you keep saying that. You're just a Wii only owner. Now I understand what they say when they said you guys are biased! Thank God I'm not like you anymore. I used to be a Wii only owner but thank goodnss I grew out of that phase!
Me: Biased how?! I played the 360 version and this version and enjoy both! I don't care if you believe me or not! You don't see me bashing your consoles or games because I don't care and I know what they offer and respect it! I have friends with those consoles and I got to play them. You don't see me bashing your console and games! Your games are yours and mine are mine!
Guy: lol nice speech
Me: Thank you. Anyway, I have better things to do than shove opinions up people's ass! Enjoy your phase, I wouldn't want to be you

God that pissed me off that night! Why can't he just leave me to what I enjoy! I swear some gamers are taking gaming a little too seriously and it's sad. Who in the right mind goes on MSN to bash someone for buying a game anyway?! Urgh, who's right and who's wrong in this guys? Am I really biased? Be honest now, I can take it :cry:

Gaming Progress

Rock Band 2 - I beat Battery and Painkiller on Hard drums and now I'm practicing Expert on the easier songs. I also beat Visions on Hard bass because Hard guitar is hard and Expert Guitar is some messed up crap lol.

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - On the final case now. Won't take me long to finish the game and then I'll play it on Hard mode :D

Ragnarok Online - Remember that online game I told you guys about? Anyway, I got bored of my level 82 Sage so I made a Wizard, she's level 72 right now but I got bored of her so I recently made an Archer which is level 52 right now. I'm planning to make the Archer a Bard and yes, Archers in the game can become Hunters or Bard/Dancer depending on gender :lol:

Okami - I swear I'll play you again sometime! :cry:

Vaccines and Driving

Just got another vaccine shot yesterday. This time it was for Hepatitis A but I'm not done yet, I've got to go back on May 5 for another shot. Urgh! I hate injections! I don't care even if they don't hurt, I just hate seeing and having an injection! :x I need to have all my shots before college because as a Nursing student, I'm gonna need them.

As for driving, I'll be starting in May after my vacation next week in Cebu (part of the Philippines) and I'm kinda excited! :D Can't wait to start driving around and not have to rely on public transportation which is a hassle!

Uh yeah, got back from Manila yesterday and I'm kinda tired. I went there for a few days to have a holiday (which was a giant shopping and eating fest really :P) Anyway, I'll try to keep it short so read on!

Holiday? Or shopping spree and eating fest? Is there a difference? Long headline?

So like I said, I went down to Manila for a few days. Spent the night at some nice hotel called Pan Pacific. We had a few problems in the room but the service was FANTASTIC! The butler, technician and receptionist we're all very calm, patient and friendly people always ready to serve! It was really nice. As for food, we ate at different places like TGI Fridays, Hard Rock Cafe, Banana Leaf, China Place and the hotel's restaurant (We get free breakfast :P), all very nice restaurants. Had tortilla fish at TGI Fridays which was really good but I couldn't finish it :P Had seafood spaghetti at the Hard Rock Cafe which was also nice :D Loved the shrimps and the mussels oh and I loved the shirt I got there :lo: (damn that sounded girly lol). Banana Leaf is a malay restaurant, we had roti canai and some spicy noodles. My mom and dad we're funny, they teased the waiters and waitresses by speaking a bit of malay and correcting the way they pronounced the dishes :lol: Funny fun fun oh and the lemon grass drink there was AWWEEESSOOMMEE. Seriously it was, wish I had a pool filled with it :lol: At China place, we had all we can eat dimsum. We ordered pork siomai, shrimp siomai, pork spareribs, some mushrooms wrapped in this cover thing and had chinese tea. Very nice as well but the waiters we're a bit creepy (Probably out of boredom, we were the only ones there :lol: Customers started arriving when we left though)

Now it's time to tackle the shopping we did. My mom and dad did the most shopping, dad got 5 shirts which is a record because he hates shopping and never buys clothes :lol: Mom has to force him. Went to places like Nautica, Gap, Levi's, Am Blvd, Guess, and some other places I forgot. Anyway, you probably don't care for all that :P So I'll just say what I got:

Holiday and we're watching movies?!

Yeah we don't normally go on holidays to check out the cinemas :lol: but this time we did. We saw Monsters Vs Aliens in a normal cinema and some sea monsters movie in IMAX. First off Monsters Vs Aliens, this movie was rather bland at most parts. Being a bit fan of Dreamworks, I was expecting a lot from this movie. It had so much potential to be a great film! but sadly, just didn't turn out to be one. Seth Rogan did a great job with B.O.B though, he was probably the best character in the whole film! Followed by Ginormica because the movie kinda follows her. Next would be Dr. Cockcroach because he's super smart and all. Least favourite is the Missing Link, dang it he could've been such an awesome character but his lines are so cheesy :x Dang it Dreamworks, what a letdown! Still, it wasn't a bad movie. Some parts were really funny and the B.O.B is such an awesome character, I give the film a 6/10.

I won't even bother talking about the sea creatures movie :P Wasn't really my thing although the animation was good. It's all about dinosaurs and ancient sea creatures. I give it a 5/10 because it was different, would rather have watched Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D instead :(

Holiday and I had to face a tough gaming decision!

That's right, amidst the relaxation and great food, I was faced with a tough gaming decision! My dad gave me P1500 to spend and I had an extra P1000 from my own savings, that's roughly $50. After checking out the game store Datablitz (One of the only good shops that sell original software) and the Rock Band 2 forums, I had to think.... think hard....

DEAD RISING CHOP TILL YOU DROP?! OR WII POINTS FOR ROCK BAND DLC?!

Yeah pretty damn tough :P I had to choose between a fun looking Wii game or a couple of awesome songs in an awesome game. In the end I chose Dead Rising because that was my only chance to get it. Wii DLC won't run away so I'll just try and save up for that.

Here's to Frank West and Datablitz! You are the winrars!



Anyway, let me talk about Dead Rising Wii because it's sad to see everyone turning it down because it looks like crap :( One thing I'd like to say is that there are less zombies, that's true but there are more than 5 people! I could see atleast 20+ zombies on screen most of the time although some areas have very little zombies like around 10 but the zombie AI makes up for it because in this game, they seem more aggressive. Still, I feel bad when I see websites laughing at the game and criticizing it when they obviously played Easy mode. I'm currently playing Normal mode and the number of zombies is pretty good, enough to satisfy my zombie killing hunger. I heard Hard mode has more zombies too which is a good thing, I'll try that out afer Normal. Another good thing about the game is that saving survivors are now missions which means Otis won't annoy you anymore. Actually, the whole game is pretty linear and you'll always know what to do. This is a good thing because that eliminates the time pressure of the first game which made the game pretty hard. Lastly, the text is now readable on an SDTV! My eyes hurt trying to decipher what Otis was saying in the 360 version :( One bad thing about this version is you can only carry one melee weapon because it uses the RE4 engine. Another bad thing is you can't jump, again because of the RE4 engine. Still, both games are great and I think people should stop comparing them. Admittedly, compared to the 360 version it isn't that good but as a standalone Wii game, it's good! 360 is more of a brawler because you can carry lots of weapons and make use of the melee wespons while the Wii version is more of a 3rd person shooter, guns are definitely better here. At the moment, I give the game a solid 7.5/10 :)

My Graduation

Just came back from my graduation today, it was pretty good and I'm really happy that I got to graduate! Too bad my parents had to screw things up for me. So at my graduation, I was smiling, having fun, being happy and sad that high school is all over. My parents? Didn't give a ****! Hell, they didn't even ****ing congratulate me or anything! Seriously! No "I'm proud of you!", "Congrats on making it!", NOTHING! They just kept whining about how the Valedictorian (My best friend) got so much awards and how studious he is and how his mom is so happy that he got an award. Jesus ****ing Christ, my parents do this every freaking year but I've had it up to now! Can't they just be proud of me?! Just once?! God! You guys don't know how sad and pissed off I am right now. They did the same thing during my elementary graduation except worse! :( While I sang a song dedicated to the parents and got a rose I was supposed to give to them, I couldn't find them. Where were they? Outside the building, smoking. I was really sad that time, I felt like bursting into tears. My own parents, not giving a damn about one of the biggest moments of my life :( It's not just that, when I was in elementary I used to get lots of awards. I was rank 3 - 5 most of the time and my parents were happy but they kept complaining about how the ceremonies were too long and blah blah blah. When I got into high school, my grades weren't as high but I was still passing. Again, they kept complaining about how I'm not doing my best and blah blah blah. When I got back into the rank again, they complained and compared me to the rank 1 of the cla$$ who kept working hard. I gave up on them when they did that and didn't bother doing good in school for their sake. Now it's my graduation and they continue to compare me to him. No congratulations, no hugs, no love, nothing! My aunt congratulated me and said she loves me but my mom didn't. Parents of my cl@ssmates congratulated me but my dad didn't. Friends and their parents said I did a good job but my own parents didn't. You know how much this pisses me off and makes me sad at the same time?! URGH! God damn I had enough of them. I do NOT want them to go to my graduation ceremony when I graduate from college, **** it!

Sorry for bombarding you guys with all that. I seriously felt like letting my load off and this was the only way I could think of. If you read all that, I really really appreciate it. I just feel so damn down and angry right now *sigh* Anyway, screw the pictures. I'm not in the mood. See you around the forums......

Graduation tomorrow!

Woohoo! I'm graduating from High School!It's a good and bad thing. The good, I'll be starting a new adventure and meet new people and have new experiences. The bad, I'll be seperated from all my good friends :( It's a shame but there's no way around it. Graduation's tomorrow at 3 PM (GMT + 8) at some small hall (Really disappointing). Good thing my friend's having a party afterwards so I guess it's not too bad. I'll be sure to take some pics haha. I'll be wearing one of these!



Rock Band drumming!

So I just got one of these the other day:

Had to go all the way to Manila just to get them from the post office (They wouldn't ship it to our place :( ) but I guess it was worth it! Been playing it almost everyday and I'm slowly getting better at it. I played Medium for a bit but now I jumped to Hard. I can play Hard fairly well but not that good yet. Haha, best graduation gift I bought myself (It's the only graduation gift I bought for myself :lol: ) You guys got any tips for me? I can't seem to get it at the right height and my leg coordination sucks :(

Universities in America

So, I think I already told you guys about my plans to take up Nursing here in the Philippines and then go to America to pursue Medicine. No? Well now you know! Anyway, I checked out the University of California San Francisco website and it seems like I won't be able to study there unless I'm a US Citizen or I have some special license or visa to let me study there. Seems like a real drag and I'm hoping not all universities in America are like that. Please help me guys and girls! If you know any good universities for medicine in the States please let me know and if you can, please explain how I can apply for medicinal training there as a foreign student. I'd really appreciate it! It's not for another 4 years but I still want to prepare and learn more about it. Oh and if possible, I'd like a university in San Francisco since it's where my Aunt and cousins live and I'd like to have some relations nearby to help me out :) If not then please list them anyway, oh and I guess Canada is an option too. How's everyone doing? Sorry if I haven't been commenting on your blogs and stuff. I can't say I've been busy, it's just that I never bothered checking my profile :P Anyway, it's time for a blog and I've got quite a few things I wanna share with you all:

I watched the Watchmen

Wasn't expecting much from this film after seeing the horrible horrible trailer but I saw it with friends anyway because there wasn't any other good films on (We missed Gran Torino :cry: ). After seeing it, I must say I really enjoyed it. The story was a little hard to follow but I managed to catch up. One big problem I had with it was it's length, I've been staring at a giant screen for 2 and a half hours but what an awesome 2 hours that was :D

No more exams and school!

Hooray! I'm done with my final exams for high school! Now it's my summer vacation and I can do whatever I want!.... Well, not yet. I still have to go to school everyday for a few hours to practice for our graduation. I know, I know, you must be thinking "wtf?! why practice graduation?! o.o". Well, I can't answer that question. I seriously don't know why we have to practice singing graduation songs and walking up on stage and getting our diplomas, school is so weird :?

Friend problems

Well, some of my close friends are starting to really tick me off. They've all changed! One of them is becoming a sarcastic **** who finds joy in sarcasm and thinks he's a really awesome guy. I used to think that until I realized he's just a teacher's pet. He would always be so nice to the teacher and say things we don't care about. I'll give examples.

Me and friends: *cleaning the cl@ssoom*
Guy: *stands up* Yehey! I'm done with my project!
Me and friends: *whisper* dude, who gives a ****?!

as for his sarcastic remarks:

Guy: Let's have a party when school ends! Let's go to the beach or something
Me: How are we getting there?
Guy: *sarcastic voice* We can rent a car you know!
Me: Uhm, we can't fit 21 people in a car......
Guy: *sarcastic voice* SORRY! I meant van!
Me: "this guy isn't thinking straight....."

Urgh, freaking teacher's pet. Another friend of mine loves to criticize people, one of the things she loves to criticize is the juniors of our school. There's one particular person in the junior cl@ss that she calls a "leech" and I agree because that person would go up to all the guys in school and ask for free stuff (she's pretty cute and lots of guys like her so she gets her stuff..... except from me :lol: though I gave her some stuff sometimes ). Anyway, my friend is now a total hypocrite! She's doing the same thing the "leech" was doing. Hell I even overheard her saying this:

Girl: Hey, wanna go to the mall?
Friend: Nah, no one's there to treat me
Me: *facepalm*

I've also noticed she's getting close to one of my best friends just to use him. How? Well, one time I wanted to borrow his PSP bt he wouldn't let me, It was fine with me until the next day he lent it to her! Wtf?! Same thing with his PS2, I wanted to borrow it but he wouldn't, the next day he lent it to her! What the hell?!

Last but not least is this other girl friend of mine. No big problems with her but I've noticed she's starting to be sarcastic all the time and she's not the same person she was before :? *sigh* all my friends are weird now. Good thing my closest friends are still the same.

Girl......problems?

I don't know if I should call this a girl "problem" or not :? Well, I've found out that two girls like me in school. I'm not interested but one of the girls is interesting..... in a bad way.

Girl # 1: She just has a slight crush on me (from what I've heard), no big deal. She looks alright but damn, she's got really hairy legs :shock: No one knows why she won't shave..... no one......

Girl # 2: Ahhh, this is the interesting girl. She's got a freaking abnormal mutant mega crush on me :? How freaky? like this:

*texting each other about college*
Girl: Where are you gonna study?
Me: At the local university here.
Girl: ok, what course?
Me: Most likely nursing
Girl: You're really cute!
Me: what the ****?!

it came out of NOWHERE! shocked me, seriously. And there was this other time:

Girl: I really miss you
Me: O....k.....
Girl: Can we meet up today?
Me: I'm kinda busy, sorry
Girl: I wanna see your face! It's so cute and I wanna pinch your cheeks!
Me: flattering..... but what the ****?!

There's a lot more but I won't bother typing them out. Not that interesting anyway :P I already let girl # 2 know that I'm not interested and she said it's ok and she just wants to be friends. She never got the message -___- She's still texting me a bunch of crazy love filled messages. Flattering but I'm just not interested and I don't want her to continue liking me cause I'm not fond of breaking people's hearts :( I told her to forget about me and find another guy. She said no -___-

Got Rock Band 2 and ordered drums

I already have the game and it's waaaaaayyyyyy better than Guitar Hero World Tour. I felt like slapping myself and shouting "Why didn't you get this sooner?!". I also ordered the drums (Rock Band 2 drums, not 1 like the picture :P ) from play-asia and they've already arrived in the Philippines, I just have to wait for it to get pass customs :( It cost me quie a lot, almost twice as much as the retail price in the States but I really wanted to try the drum set and besides, I'm graduating and it's summer. Might as well treat myself to something :P

Friends with Ex Girlfriend

I talked about friends and I talked about girls, now let me talk about my ex girlfriend :lol: Like the headline says, we're friends now. She apologized to me (Through text, damn woman can't face me when it's about serious stuff -___-) and I accepted it. Now we're friends and on good terms and uhm... that's about it :lol:

Our Prom!~

Just had our prom last night which was a blast! It was a masquerade ball so everyone was wearing masks at first but later took them off cause they were annoying :P There wasn't a lot of food but it was really good. They had chicken, rice, chopsuey, steamed vegetables, fish fillet, and salad. Their desserts included brownies, coffee cake I think it was :P and some cinnamon apple cake thing. After eating, some selected seniors and juniors had to give a speech about accepting and giving away responsibilities. I had to bequeath the last will and testament to the juniors which went well in my opinion. After all the speeches, it was our cotillion dance! I forgot some of the steps :P but I don't think it was that noticeable compared to the others (quite a few forgot the steps haha). After that, it was time for the candle lighting ceremony. Us seniors made a circle while holding a candle while the juniors made a circle outside our circle while holding garlands. We gave our candles to the juniors and they gave us the garlands :P That's it really haha. Then finally, we had our ball. I danced with as much girl friends as I could :lol: The first 5 songs or so was love songs and the rest was party music. Afterwards, it was the awarding ceremony. I didn't win anything :P Shame but I still enjoyed the prom.

Sleepover

After the prom, we headed over to some resort for a sleepover! We were all too tired to do anything though :lol: so we just sat around watching TV. We did have some crazy fun like having the guys wear the girl's gown and vice versa :lol: and drinking all night. I wasn't in the mood to drink so I didn't. One of my friends got drunk though, he just randomly crushed cans and said all sorts of crazy, weird stuff. It was pretty fun but really tiring. How tiring? Well, I slept at 3 PM yesterday and woke up 7 AM this morning. That's right, I had 16 hours of sleep! It's intense haha.

So this is the week with Friday the 13th in it. People are expecting things to go wrong a day before Valentines but did it? Hell freaking no! And I'm here to tell you guys all about it! Science Fair

We had our annual school science fair last Thursday which went pretty well. My group's product was homemade toothpaste, we made it last Monday then wrote the report about it on Tuesday and got ready on Wednesday. To our surprise, the judges really liked our product and I felt they liked my presentation. Why did I feel that way? I'll tell you why! Our group won 3rd place! and I won Best Male Presentor! Ohhhhh yeeahhh! :DI received a medal and a trophy for the group. Not only that, for being in the top 5, our science teacher is giving us a perfect grade for our project, periodical test and participation. That's like 50% of my grade :P hahaha, It was awesome!

Fun Day

After the science fair, we had our Fun Day on the 13th, the dreaded day of bad luck. On this day, we had no cla$$, it was one whole day of fun for teachers and students with booths and games and stuff. Our cla$$' booth was a jail booth, in this booth, we catch people who are wearing a certain thing or have a certain thing. For example, we think of catching people wearing jeans, we announce it through a microphone and watch all the people run away then we chase them down and lock them up haha :P They can't get out unless they pay P20 :lol: What sucked was some of the younger year levels cried. What the fook Geez, get with the system people. Don't ruin the fun of others by being a p***y. *sigh* after the booths, we had some competitions set up. Acoustic competition, solo singing, dance fest and battle of the bands. It was all fun to watch especially the battle. My friends won the battle but the crowd never cheered for them. The bassist, who is also my friend, said he felt like they cheated and don't deserve to win. I kinda feel that way because the other band, which consists of koreans, did a fantastic job. They sucked on the first song admittedly but their "Sweet Child O' Mine" was great and really got the crowd going. My friend's band also played that but didn't receive the same reaction. To add to the mess, the judges we're owners of the jamming studio they always go to. There might have been some bias in the judging :( It's not going to sit well with anyone. No one cheered for them when they we're announced as the winners, NO ONE! Not even the girlfriend of the rhythm guitarist! And well, if your girlfriend doesn't cheer for you, there's something very wrong..... That about does it for the Fun Day.

Valentines Day

Ahhhh, good old Hearts Day.... The feeling of love in the air and all that jazz. Unfortunately, I don't have a special someone so I had no date today :( That doesn't mean my day was bad though, oh no. I went out for dinner with my family. It was a buffet and there was lots of good food around. I ate almost everything they had to offer :P While we ate, some guy went up to where the duet was singing and proposed to his girl in front of everyone. It was nice to see and was such a sweet thing he did :P I found it touching haha.

University Interview

After taking the University Exam, the proctor gave us times and dates for our interviews. I had to go to the College of Nursing and meet at the Dean's office. When I got there, I never got to speak to the Dean :P I had to talk to the Clinic Inspector. Well, the guy was really friendly but damn, he sure knows how to interview. He could tell whenever I'm unsure of my answer, made me nervous. He asked me questions like "Why did you choose this University?", "Who are your family members?". "Where do you get your income?", "Why did you choose Nursing out of all the courses out there?", etc. I think I did alright but I'm nervous about it all. After the interview, the guy said "I hope to see you in June" which seemed alright at first until I talked to my friends about it. Apparently, after my friends had their interview, the interviewer said "Welcome to the University! See you in June". They're in the University for sure and I'm here, waiting for the results on February 6 and 7 :( Well, I just hope I pass!

Cotillion Practice

My P.E teacher asked for a list of people of wanted to join the cotillion last Monday and I volunteered! :P I joined last year and since this is my last year of High School, I thought I might as well join again. Me and my partner we're a bit crazy during practice, messing with the steps and screwing up every now and then haha :lol: The girls will be wearing a violet dress so the guys have to wear a violet inner shirt. I guess that'd be alright but I want to change my inner shirt after the cotillion so I can stand out in the crowd :P I probably won't though because I don't want to carry shirts with me around the place. I'm not after Mr. Prom or whatever awards they have :P

Contact Lens

I decided to try out some contact lenses yesterday with my dad. I tried two colors, baby blue and sandalwood. I liked both so I got them :P They're not as strong as my glasses though, I can read better with the glasses but in terms of clearness, both are the same. It feels weird having them on, I keep touching between my eyes as if I'm fixing my glasses only to be reminded I'm not wearing them anymore haha. I've only tried the brown so far and it's good. Haven't opened the blue yet, hopefully there's nothing wrong with them. Oh and can someone help me with something? When you put the contacts in, do you have to put the solution in your eyes every hour? I didn't put any solution in my eyes yesterday but I managed to take them out fine. A friend of mine said they might stick to my eyes permanently :? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My ex comes back to haunt me

After living without her in my life for a few months and being happy with that, my friends have brought her back from the dead. They want me to be friends with her and make up. I told them frankly that I don't care what happens between us now, if we become friends, it's fine. If not then it's fine with me as well. I also don't see the point, we've had so many times to make up and become friends, you'd think if either of us wanted to, we would've made up already right? Also, school's about to end for both of us. I'll be off to University and she'll be there in high school. Even if we do make up, we're not gonna see each other much. My friends have accepted my answer and didn't force anything on me. My other friend (who's a really close friend of my ex) on the other hand, really wants me to make up. She said it'll make things better and everyone will be happier. If ever I'm going to make up with her again, it'll be because of her. She's an extremely kind person, it'll be bad to say no to her. What's weird about all this is that my ex wants to be friends with me but she's telling her friends to tell me to make up. You'd think she would just come up to me and talk to me or something :roll: *sigh* I have no idea who's right and wrong. Am I in the wrong? Should I make up with her? Or would it be alright just to live as strangers still? I have no idea what's in store for me.

Nothing much here, just continuing my last blog with a little more news about what's happening in my life. So here we go!

University exams are over!

And it was easy! I took a pretty long time in Math but all in all, the test was easy. After the test, me and my friends, who also took the test, went to Mcdonalds to get some food. Afterwards, we went to the mall and just hanged out. We watched Bedtime Stories which was a nice, cute film. It's more of a family film though but it was no big problem, we still enjoyed it nevertheless :D

Avionics Technology

In my last few blogs, I've mentioned that I was planning to take up Nursing as my pre-med then continue studying to be a doctor. Well, we had a college visit us at school the other day who talked to us about avionic courses. It was a flight school and they really got me into thinking about taking up one of the courses. I wouldn't mind taking up Pilot Training but I've got poor eyesight so that's a problem. I don't really want Avionic Engineering cause I'm not really the "engineer" type if you get what I mean. Of all the courses, the one that interests me the most is Avionics Technology. I'm thinking hard about it and I don't know what to do. I talked to my parents about it and my dad seems to like it (He loves airplanes :P) while my mom would rather have me pursue medicine. In the end, it's up to me to decide but I don't know what I should take up. What do you guys think? Will Avionics Technology be a good course to take up?
