So yeah I got my nursing uniform today and I kinda like it :P Pretty sweet thing. Only problem is I have to wear black shoes with it and in my opinion, it looks horrible. I'd rather wear white shoes with it but I can't. Maybe next year.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Warning! Spoilers!

I loved the first film and couldn't wait for this one cause I thought it'd be a freaking great sequel. Turns out I was wrong :( Transformers 2 is a good film and I liked it but it wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. My complaints about the film are:

• Not enough Jetfire. Yay, you find him in a museum then he teleports you then he kills himself to help Optimus.
• Moar Megatron? I was expecting a new threat, not more Megatron and his weird skinny boss.
• Too much explosions. I know it's to be expected but I laughed when every scene has an explosion :lol:
• Sexy creepy Transformer girl *shudders*
• Doesn't make sense. Seriously there was a lot of things in the movie that didn't make sense but I can't be bothered listing them right now :P Maybe in the next blog?

And it was freaking 2 hours and 30 minutes long! I'm not complaining about the length but they could've put so much more into the movie since it was so freaking long.

I think the movie is good but not worth rushing to the cinemas to see and this is coming from someone who only paid $2 to see it. I give it a 7/10 because it had cool fight scenes and there's transforming robots :P

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Beat it and I've been left wanting more so I might get the expansion pack. I enjoyed the game but not as much as Red Alert 2. No Westwood touch :( and everything feels so weird.

Rock Band 2 - I seriously need some Wii points for the awesome Iron Maiden songs. Just wait Harmonix, I'ma get those Wii points some day.

New Games!

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor - Pretty awesome game. I like choosing what to say and seeing what my party would respond :P Battle system and characters are also awesome. I'll be having fun with this game for sure.

He said I shouldn't bother with English Education. He pretty much said it's a low job, it's pathetic and the pay is low. I told him I could go to Japan, Korea or China and teach english through the programs they offer but he still wants me to go Nursing. He said if I want to be a teacher, I could just go for the degree after 4 years of Nursing. Wtf?! What the hell is the point?! I might as well just shift as soon as possible so I can WORK early. I might as well just take up a medical degree for 4 years. He also doesn't understand that I may not be interested in the medical field anymore. Being honest, the reason I wanted to be a doctor/nurse when I was young was for the money. The money and the joy of helping people but the money was number 1. Looking back, I feel that was really stupid of me. I know it's only been 2 weeks at uni but that has nothing to do with how I feel! When I think of myself working abroad as an english teacher, it feels more ME! I know it may be hard to earn a job but so far, all I hear and read is "Asia needs english teachers!". I mean, I used to hate nursing when I was a kid, I was gonna choose Biology so I wonder how the hell I landed in Nursing?! I think it's probably due to the influence of my parents *sigh*. I'm so freaking confused on what I want to be in 4 years, a nurse working abroad earning good pay or teaching a language I really love abroad? Good job with good pay vs teaching a subject I love with low pay? I just don't know anymore. This is why I HATE going to university at 16. I want 2 more years of high school so I can decide properly! Dang it all, I'm so confused and my dad didn't help at all. Sorry for the wall of text, I just felt like venting out how I feel.

EDIT: Talked to my mom as well. My dad and her pretty much said "If you don't take Nursing, get out of this house". All I can say is FML, I wanna run away from home and die or just commit suicide. Or live somewhere else and away from all this crap. I can't change my course and I can't do anything, that's it. I can ONLY be a nurse, I have no more freedom to be what I want. Fantastic.....

Hallelujah! My first weekend after starting uni! I must say, uni went pretty well and not as bad as I thought it would be. Got some doubts about my course though but I'll tackle that later. All of you, sit back and read on!

Happy Dad's Day to all your dads :D Let your dad know you love him on a day just for him! Father's day for me was alright. We went out, had lunch and then dad took me for some private driving lessons. It wasn't anything special but it was a good day.

College, college, college....

Like I said earlier, my first week at college went well but I'm starting to have doubts about Nursing. I chose Nursing because I thought it was the best pre-medical course but now I don't feel like going into the medical field anymore. I'm becoming more and more interested in English Education and would like to switch to that in the near future. I was planning to go to China or Japan to work after I finish the course. What do you guys think? Should I stick to Nursing or go ahead with English Education? Also, do you guys happen to know if they are in demand around the world? and how good the pay is? :P I'd appreciate it a lot, thanks :)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Finally beat it! Such a lovely game it was.
Call of Duty: World at War - Marine campaign pissed me off :x I was far into one of the missions already but now I have to start it from the beginning even though I saved! Grrr :x

New Games!
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Beat the Soviet and Japanese campaign and I'm on the last Allied mission. I honestly think this is a great game but not a good Red Alert game. Where's Boris? Where's Yuri? What happened to the Red Alert 2 Premier? Where did the Soviet genius come from? Who the hell is Natasha and Yuriko?! What have you done to my Red Alert EA?! ****! :x It's like EA got rid of everything Red Alert, put in some futuristic mumbo jumbo, added hot babes and bam, Red Alert 3. I don't mind the hot babes, not at all but it felt like the game was trying to get me hard even though there's a WAR going on.

It went.....well I guess. I dunno how to explain how I feel about my first day. I mean it went well, nothing bad happened, I had a few laughs and some people were kind but I felt like crap right now. I feel like my day went badly even though it didn't, it feels so weird. I didn't even make much friends :( I did get to meet a few people but didn't get close or anything, I suppose I am friendly with an american guy I met so I'm not too lonely :lol: I really don't know how I feel but I do know I am NOT excited for class tomorrow. I sure hope college life gets better *sigh*

Off to University!......No....

Not till June 15 anyway. Apparently, some students in Manila caught A(H1N1) and are being quarantined. The Commission on Higher Education announced that all Universities will start on June 15 instead of June 8 which is good I suppose. Speaking of A(H1N1), I freaking hate calling it that! I like calling it Swine Flu but now the rabbid smart asses are telling me it's wrong. Yeah sure it's wrong but it's easier to say and type! :x

Stuff I did but forgot to mention and I'm too lazy to talk about them in detail

1.) Went out with friends, 1 is a guy that's my best bud and the other 2 are cute girl friends of mine. I went to the mall to find out my best bud went on a date with his girlfriend :lol: leaving me with the girls. "But Bryan! That's fantastic" you say, well it would but I'm kinda in the friend zone with both of them so it doesn't really benefit me. They also brought with them, 4 guys and 3 girls that I do not know so I felt left out. I even had to put up with a movie called "Ghost of Girlfriend's Past", it wasn't a bad day though. I had my share of fun. I give the movie a 6/10.

2.) Went out with friends and watched Terminator Salvation, it's alright but nothing mind blowing. I give it a 6/10.

3.) Bought Toy Story 2 and 28 Days Later on DVD. Freaking loved Toy Story 2! I give it a 9/10. 28 Days Later is interesting but it was also a bit weird :P I give it a 7/10.

4.) Bought a pair of earphones but I don't like the design. Not to mention it's a bit uncomfortable in the ears. It was only $7 though so I didn't lose anything :P Sound is better than the Apple earphones that came with my iPod but I like the way it looks and feels better :( Might get some Philips earphones but I'm not sure. You guys know any good earphones that are pretty cheap?

5.) Dad got back from England, got me Galaxy and some magazines and manga. Pretty sweet! :D Do NOT question the Galaxy :P

6.) Finished driving lessons, woot. Pretty dry ending though, the instructor and officer in charge just said bye and that was it :?

The Beatles: Rock Band
Beatiful, just beautiful :cry: Freaking trailer made me so happy and the gameplay looks amazing! Can't believe they even got Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney on E3. Both we're hilarious :lol: Cannot freaking wait for this game!

Splinter Cell Conviction
360 exclusive right? Wow, this will suck for Splinter Cell fans who only have a PS3. I've never played Splinter Cell before but I can see why people like it. Great for 360 owners.

Metal Gear Solid Rising
That's the name isn't it? Another great exclusive for the 360. Guess this will shut up some people who wanted MGS4 :lol: It's not that bad, you guys are getting a spinoff with Raiden! Woohoo. This is 360 exclusive right?

Project NATAL
I honestly think it's a load of bull :| Why does the Wii get bashed for having motion sensing SINCE DAY 1 and having it IN ALL GAMES since DAY 1 and comes FRESH OUT OF THE BOX but Microsoft's NATAL gets nothing but love :| What the freaking hell is going here?! I honestly think this will bomb and won't be successful.

It's true, I can't. The reason I never added them on the list is because they're multiplats and didn't interest me as much as the exclusives. With the exception of a few.

And that's my take on this year's E3! Though I am a Nintendo fan and always will, I loved what Sony had to show. Nintendo's was definitely better than last year's horrid conference *shudders* and Microsoft's just wasn't interesting to me. That is all, see you around the forums~

Driving

Some of you already know I've been driving for a week now. I'm taking lessons from a driving school and so far I'm liking it. Some instructors are annoying but most of the time they're alright. This is what I've been learning day by day:
Day 1: Learned about the gears and the pedals. Clutch is the most important part of the car. I learned how to move and turn the car. Learned when to shift gears. Only used 1st gear :P
Day 2: Practiced moving some more. Practiced turning some more. Learned how to use side mirrors well. Learned how to deal with intersections. Learned how to reverse (Was tricky).
Day 3: Practiced moving some more. Got used to shifting gears and moving on the road. I hate the damn clutch :x and I hate first gear! Practiced dealing with intersections some more and changing lanes. Got to shift to 3rd gear :P I don't think the instructor taught me what I was suppose to learn though :|
Day 4: Had a sick old man in the car who was a bit temperamental. Still hate the clutch and first gear! :x Learned how to do the 3 point turn (was awesome) and the U-turn. I was supposed to learn how to do the 2 point turn but the guy never taught me, seems enough anyway.
Day 5: Had a great instructor today! Learned how to "hang" uphill (was pretty hard). Did more accelerating and reversing practices.
Day 6: Had my old instructor back (Guy from Day 1, 2 and 3). Learned how to drive into a garage and reverse out of a garage (felt like normal driving except in a much more narrow space). Saw a freaking hot girl who was a student before me :P Talked about it with instructor :lol:
Day 7: Same instructor as yesterday. Learned how to park in a parallel direction. Learned how to get out of a parallel parking. Was supposed to learn how to park vertically and diagonally but never did, seems easy enough anyway.
Day 8: Had old man again (from day 4) but this time he wasn't sick and his mood was better. Was supposed to learn how to drive on a highway but we never went on a highway :| just quiet roads and some busy roads on the way back. Didn't learn safe following distance or safe following distance. I felt screwed :|

And that's it so far. Day 9 and Day 10 will happen on Monday and Tuesday respectively. My lessons are one hour a day for 10 days so all in all, 10 hours of driving. After that, I'll be practicing with my dad :D

Gaming Progress

Okami - Finally beat the game! Woohoo! Beat it in 27 hours. A little disappointed in the ending, I thought I was gonna see the celestial plain :cry: and/or Amaterasu's celestial form! I was shocked when the game ended because I read it's a 40 hour long game and I beat it 13 hours early haha. Great game, loved every bit of it!

No More Heroes - Also beat the game! :lol: But I saved over my old file in new game :cry: Now I have to play the game all over again for the real ending. I'll beat it slowly, no rush. I saw the ending on youtube anyway :lol: Bitter mode is a lot harder :o

Call of Duty: World at War - I like the Russian campaign more than the American, a lot more fun and epic. I'm doing well online. I unlocked a Sniper Scope for the M1 Garand and I've been sniping people ever since :lol: I also unlocked the Scope for the Mosin Nagant, I alternate between the two. I also hate machine gunners! :x but it's all part of the game. I think I'm level 33 at the moment. Feel free to add me on Wi-Fi :D My FC should be 2 blogs before this one.

Animal Crossing: City Folk - Got a red balloon :P Also made my house a bit nicer. Only got 10,000 more bells to pay before Tom Nook upgrades my house! :D Can't wait. Also got Agent K.K. for my Gold Stereo 8) Again, feel free to add me! FC is in one of the blogs before this one :D

Saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Film was alright but I honestly don't know what's going on now. The action scenes we're the best part of the film while the story was pretty good but some parts left me so confused, it's like they did that so they could make a sequel or another X-Men Origins! :evil: Then again I haven't been following the X-Men movies, I think I saw the last one which was pretty lame. Well, I give the film a 7/10. If you're expecting a fantastic movie that will blow you away, stay away! If you just want to see some mindless, cool action scenes. Go ahead and see it, don't run to the theatres and see it though, just take your time :P

Moar freaking injections!

This one's for Tetanus. It didn't hurt but my arm feels numb and it hurts when I stretch my arms up high :( Freaking injections! I think this is the last one though so I'm happy about that :D Except the boosters though but I won't be having those for a while.

Getting ready for University!

Some of you already know that I plan to take BS Nursing for college and then, hopefully, move to the States to go for an MD and for those who didn't know, well now you know! Anyway, my parents went backwards and forwards to the University and to the Insurance company to get my college sorted out. Well, they're done and my college will be paid for by the insurance company! Not sure if it's an insurance company, all I know is my dad's been investing money into some education plan and now that company is paying for my college. Pretty sweet! :D Now I just have to show up for enrollment on May 12 and I'll be set! Oh and get my books, uniform, bag and other stuff I need :P

Got my Student Permit for driving!

Yes! After zooming around with some old man my parents know who is pretty bad at driving, I finally got it! The old man was great! He knew so many people and managed to get me a student permit without me doing anything :P All I had to do was hand money to the cashier while he did all the paperwork for me! Fantastic! He even got the boss to allow me to get a permit because normally, I need my parents with me. Props to you old man! Even if you're driving scares me :|

Rock Band 2 - Woot! I can get 90% or more on "Anyway You Want It" and "I'm Gone, I'm Going". I thought I'd never be able to beat them :P Also beat "Down With The Sickness" 8)

Okami - I beat that evil island thing with one of the evil spirits which was a fox, forgot the name :P I've been to some snowy place and now I have to go to Yoshpet and find some little girl with volcano powers. At the moment, I'm checking out the Poncle city.

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - Beat the game! And the ending sucked! :cry: Why Capcom?! Why?! Urgh! Anyway, I'm playing the game again on Hard but I'm spending more time on other games.

New Games!

Call of Duty: World at War - I am loving the single player! Haven't tried multiplayer yet but once I do, I'll post my FC here. Check it out then! The controls aren't as good as I thought it'd be but it's still good, just not fantastic like MOHH2 and MP3.

UPDATE: As for online, It's pretty intense! Even though it's only 8 players Team Deathmatch or Free For All it can get pretty hectic but not too hectic like MOHH2 can be sometimes. Finding your opponents can sometimes be tough and that makes me wish there was atleast 16 players online :( But it's not too bad. Atleast you can kill/die faster unlike MOHH2's messed up health regeneration online :lol: For those who have the game and want to add me, here's my FC: 5327 7577 0785. Let me know if you add me ;)

No More Heroes - Haven't tried it yet :P

UPDATE: At first, I thought it was pretty boring but as I got further into the game I realized how fun the combat was :D I'm currently playing on Sweet difficulty :P and it's entertaining me so far. Some of the assassinations/jobs are interesting while others are pretty boring. Best part of the game is the boss fights! Combine that with the awesome combat and you have a game with intense boss fight action! I already killed Rank 10 and Rank 9 and I've already paid for Rank 8. I'm guessing this game is a bit on the short side :(

Animal Crossing: City Folk - Not mine, it's my sisters but I still get to play with it once in a while. Pretty interesting game, I'm liking the graphics on the big screen :o Pretty cute and polished :P Just finished doing the odd jobs Tom Nook had for me. Now my sister's free to do what she wants :D First things first though, she needs a bigger house! Time to collect bells and pay my mortgage!
