also- my coke cap point toal is now at 5100, and STILL theres nothing i really want on their website !!!! AAARRRRRGGGHHH all i want is a non-pink DS lite , for crying out loud !!!!! does anybody else share my frustration ??

ok, ok, so I admit it, i have gotten a bit lazy and havent posted in a long time. so sue me . but i am back now, and still love games !! I just find I dont have the energy to play them as much as i might like to, anymore. I havent bought too many new ones yet, i am still playing guitar hero 1 and 2 and 80s encore, also still playing Black and medal of honor european assault, and i just got medal of honor vanguard, but i am a little tired of the medal of honor series in general .

QUESTION does anybody know a store or website where i can get a really cool guitar controller for Guitar hero, something that you cant find at gamestop or wal mart? i saw a really cool Flying V controller not long ago, but it was broken- i would LOVE to have one of those-- this is for my PS2, by the way

any help would be much appreciated.

Hello again !!! I and the wife are back from a short 3 day trip to Colorado for a little vacation and we had a pretty good time, overall........ We got rear ended while sitting at a stop light, and the wife got a little sick, but shes ok and nobody was hurt, so I guess we are ok!! We went to the Garden of the Gods, and the Royal Gorge, and also to Manitou Springs, which has a great little inddor/outdoor arcade which features a lot of old arcade games, and they are in really good shape. They have some REALLY old arcade stuff from like the early 1900s, and a room full of skee- ball and another room full of just pinball machines, and then some great old arcade games that are in great shape, like TRON, Frogger, even an old Tetris stan-up machine, and a lot of others, like off- road Mortal Kombat 3, and even a mario brothers machine. It's highly recommended if you go to Colorado Springs!! I also have some new games-1- Indigo Prophecy- which I havent tried yet-2- Red Dead Revolver, which I am playing and I like alot !! 3- also got Guitar Hero rocks the 80s and I bought a used guitar controler so now we can play 2 players, and even though I have about enough musicalability to maybe cover the bottom of a thimble, I really have gotten into Guitar hero- The wife already loves it too !! I am still playing a good bit of Diablo 2 also, as well as MK deception and Champions, return to arms . I want to get a copy of baldurs gate,dar alliance 2, which is a lot like diablo and champions, but for some reason a used copy of Daldurs gate DA2 is like 50 bucks !!! whats up with that ? does anybody know why it is so expensive for a used PS2 game ? otherwise-I also have played the red star a bit and I like it prety well, it plays a lot like contra with some brawling thrown in

PS I went and saw Super bad with the wife- her pick-- and yes, it was indeed superbad!!!!! i dont mean that in a good way either !!!!! it sucked

well, here I am again, it's been a while so i thought i'd put in another post .I am still collecting games, and quickly approaching 500 games total- i may even be there already. Most recently i got a copy of Shadow of the Colossus!! Great game !! I also recently went to Dave and Buster's, which was good but not great . they need some new games .

summer movies i have seen so far:

Transformers-very good - probably the best summer movie yet-

The simpsons- also good- better than i thought it would be -

knocked up- not bad-but not very good either --

Chuck and Larry- pretty good- I actually liked Kevin James in this one- and I dont usually like him much-

Also- I still want to see Die hard 4 and Bourne, and i cant wait for Shootemup!!

  well kids it's been a while since I posted here, and even tho I check news and stuff on GS about every day, I haven't been terribly active.  There's lots of reasons for this, but mostly I just got a bit bored byGS, I guess.  Also, I was busy running around like a nut for most of December , January, and Part of February looking for a new car for my wife, her car kicked the bucket in early December.  I looked at lots and lots of cars, and got really really pissed at several lying POS car salesmen, but in the end I bought a car from an older gentleman across the street , and we have been very happy with it.  It's a car that they dont really make anything like anymore, and it was in really great shape, and not much money, and it's lots of FUN to drive , too!!  What did I buy you ask??   anybody wanna play and see if they can guess??  I'll give you a few hints- 

1-  It's an American made car

2- It's a 2 door car

3- it's a 1997 model

4- it's not really a sports car, but it is a rear wheel drive and has a 210 hp V-8  !!!!!!!  vroom Vroom    :)  

5- color is dark green, but  that too is a bit weird- it looks dark blue when in really bright sunlight   

respond with your guesses and I will give the answer in a couple of days, k?      can't wait to see what you think !!  I love the car, and I think it's growing on my wife, and it doesn't hurt that the car is LOADED with features!!!!

ok- I have somehow lost like 3 of my little banners , stickers, whatever they are in  my profile, and I dont like it !!!   what happened?   I had old school, serious colllector, and at least one more, and now they are GONE!!!!!  has anybody else had this happen ?? 

ps   MGS portable ops for the PSP totally rocks, but I dont begin to understand why i can turn off the PSP in the middle of the game, and go back to it like 3 days later and it boots up to the exact spot where I was before!!!!!!!   a ps1 or a ps2 or a Gamecube game cant do that !!!!  does anybody else think this is wild ???

Long time,  no see, no post, anyway.  How is everyone?  Just though it would be about time to update the ol' blog.  As the year draws to a close, I have to say it hasn't been quite as bad of a kick in the teeth as last year was, but still it was a kick in the teeth nonetheless.  The wife's car died 2 weeks ago, and they wanted like $5,000 bucks to fix it, and it had 178,000 miles on it, so we just put it out of it's misery and sold it to a junkyard for $100.   Can you believe that ??  Oh well, we were kinda tired of that car anyway.....

     I am still buying games when I find a good deal or two, I just recently got Gripshift for PSP, it was 10 bucks and I thought it looked kinda cool!!  I'll write again when I play it some.  Mostly I have been playing Archer Maclean's Mercury on PSP, and I love that game , but it is TOUGH!!!!  it will really make you pull your hair out !!!   I am also playing Super Ghouls and Ghosts on GBA, along with several of my other old favorites like CT Special forces 2.  I got a GBA micro on the day after Thanksgiving, and I love it !!!!   Wal Mart had them for 40 bucks and I couldn't pass it up !!!!   the screen is really nice and clear, and I dont really even notice that it's a smaller screen.  I am also playing Medal of Honor, European Assault on PS2, and I am not exactly crazy about it.  They changed up the old FPS formula, and I don't really care for the way they did it, plus the game is kinda tough and puts too much emphasis on finding cover and squad tactics and stuff like that.    I also had a birthday yesterday, and my wonderful wifey got me Black for the PS2, which I like A WHOLE LOT !!!   I love shooting things !!!!!   Speaking of the wife, her hand is recovered enough now that she can play Guitar Hero 2, which I got her for her birthday last month, and she loves that game!!!!    write me back some guys, more to come soon !! 

hello again Guys!! Just a quick blog to say hi and stuff.  I finished RE4 and I still love it-- awesome game-- I am now just trying to finish the mercenaries side missions, which are tough!!   I beat assignment Ada, which was ok but kinda short.  I am also now playing Gun on ps2 , which is pretty ok.  I got a PSP, which I love, and I now have like 5 or 6 games for it, but I am having a terrible time finding many movies for it that I want.  I know that its a system on its last legs, but still, it shouldnt be that tough to find some movies for it--- maybe that's why it kinda failed,  not enough movie support, ya know ??  I will probably get Hellboy and Super Troopers and maybe Crouching tiger for it, but after that, who knows.  I'm not the type that buys movies just to have them, I'd much rather collect and play games, you know???   let me know what you guys think.   

PS   I'm on vacation this week, so I'll probably be playing LOTS of games,  we're not going out of town after all, just a money thing, but I guess that's ok.   I hate to leave my dogs in the kennel anyway, I just worry about them all the time, so maybe this is just as well................
