Soulcalibur IV burns on Xbox 360, PS3

This is excellent news. We need some more fighters on 360.

I, must, buy, this, game, on, day, one. Since when did Soul Caliber ever went sour? It never did(only a idiot would say it went bad).

Man, I really want this game; but at $50 a controller, I don't know seeing as I know I'd be buying a new controller every week. I busted 3 gamecube controllers on SCII and 3 PS2 controllers on SCIII

I will have to pick it up when it comes out

The good news is i can now get an adventure soul calibur for my wii!! and a fighting version for ether my ps3 or 360 so there for i have no complants.

Dude... I hope this game gets online versus. Too bad xbox owners missed out on SC III :-( But I can tell this game is going to rock people's socks off! All in all this is great news for xbox 360 owners :-)

Sorry 360 fans..... Namco / Bandai already made an agreement with Sony not long ago to use CELL technology for their Tekken 6 arcade. So Tekken 6 definitely will be PS3 only not matter how long you whining or begging Namco / Bandai to make it multiplat. This news about SC4 being multiplat never shocked me coz they already made previous SC series multiplat. All previous Tekken seres never touch another platform except Sony platforms( GBA is different story can`t be count as console ).

console exclusives from third party developers need to be a thing of the past for the health of the industry. Get over it..... The only people I see whining are those who are fanboi's of a specific console. Which is a ridiculous concept in itself.

Hopefully SC4 will actually add something new to the series...

I've never played any of the Soul Caliber games. But judging on the trailer that I just saw in the fourth installment of the series, I'm interested now.

We dont hope for god of war or anything.

Tekken is a strong PS3 exclusive. Stop whining and be happy with what you get instead of moaning because Sony has been able to get better games in the past compared to MS who could buy anything under the sun. It'd be like DOA going to the PS3. This isn't surprising anyone since Soul Caliber 2 was multiplatform. Also I wonder how good that horrible d-pad on the 360 controller is going to favor out in these games.

This is good news no matter what console you have. And to those who thought it was going to be exclusive seemed to forget that Soul caliber 2 was on the Xbox, PS2, and GC. Only Soul caliber 3 was exclusive. I can't wait to play as my one and only girl Ivy. I also hope they do what the exclusive characters again. That was awesome.

Man, if Tekken 6 came to the 360 I would be so happy (obviously). But this made me think that why shouldn't it. Right? I mean, there's no reason why Tekken shouldn't be multiplatform. The bigger the audience the better--for us and for them (developers).

...And so lets tell another sequel story... I don't know, so far all there is on 'next gen' is sequels and nothing else - graphics aside. I think the word innovation is gone out the window and the buzz word 'HD' seems to be replacing it but not for nintendo though... Still this should be another fun couple of hours, probably.

This is madness! Wii deserve an actual Soul Calibur game, in addition to it's spin-off! Soul Calibur II = Best on Gamecube!

Soul Calibur's a fun game. I never got a chance to play III so I'll be waiting for this one. I still remember buying the first SC on Dreamcast...ahh, the memories...

I'm excited about this and can't wait until 2008 but I hope Namco won't drop the ball this time. SCIII is fun but the characters are way out-of-balance. Nightmare vs. Raphael anyone? How about Cervantes vs. Cassandra? For players at the same skill level these match-up's are near impossible without resorting to cheap shots and lots of cursing. SCIII also corrupts other games' save files on the PS2(officially confirmed by Namco). I don't need missions, adventures, lost'n founds or anything I just want Namco to bring back SCII's balance while they add new characters and improve the visual.

This is great news. And Seraph105 Namco is making a Soul Calibur action adventure game for the Wii.

Well, with the Wii controller being different from the Xbox360/PS3 one, they would really need 2 different games to take advantage of it.

i hope they go back to what made number one good! number two was okay but no body played it for a reason. Also three wasn't available to everyone so... now four better rock, or else namco... =)

Like i said, it will be a one hella of a year, and im really really looking forward to this game, cause i had great memories on the old seies of soul that i will never forget .

Best fighting game series, hands down. On a related note, Tekken can shove it. And on another semi-related note, I can't wait to see how many "Thumbs Down" marks I get for the above statement.

Glad they had the good sense to release on Xbox 360 this time. It was a gross indecency to Soul Caliber 2 fans to have the 3rd being an exclusive to PS2. This game is great. I hope they fixed the problem of it being very difficult to mount a comeback while an opponent just mashes the same button, repeating the same unimaginative move over and over again. Dead or Alive IV did a good job with this issue.
