<< LINK REMOVED >> Indeed. I have a friend who shares his PS+ with me I must say the model is there to keep the subscriber "addicted" to it by design. It's almost cyclical, even. My only gripe with it is that it's still too restrictive since they cut down console access from 5 to 2, and the whole "pay to access" model.


Still, being a Vita owner, I'd never have played half those games if it weren't for PS+.

If you drop your Plus subscription today and subscribe again a year from today, your games are still there and fir 50 bucks a year you get access to a buttload of games. I have PSPlus since six months before it started, and it pays for itself 10 times over just for the games; something I don't really feel is the case with Games with Gold, but that appears to be changing and I'm glad.

At the end of the day, I feel that MS has better online but Sony has better game offerings. But since Plus is becoming a mandatory service for online players next (current?) gen and Gold is starting to hand out game, the tendency are for both of trhem to even out. Until then, it depends on what is more important to each person.

I can cancel my subscription and stop playing online anytime I like and still have acess to the games I downloaded thus far.

I pay for PS+ for the games, while 360 owners pay for gold memberships just to play online. So yea, it works as a rental service, but that's what it was billed as. We didn't have to pay extra every year to use our console to the fullest.

I am happy you guys finally got a game from this decade, but to say one game "pwns" PS+ is silly.
