Leaked Watch Dogs PC specifications state 64-bit OS requirement

Ubisoft's "ultra" specification for Watch Dogs on PC also asks for an Nvidia GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, and an Intel Core i7-3930K or AMD FX-9370 processor.

Watch Dogs will require PC users to be running a 64-bit operating system, leaked system specs for the game suggest.

No Caption Provided

The specifications, which popped up briefly on Ubisoft's Uplay store before being taken down, were archived by NeoGAF, detailing the 64-bit OS requirement alongside the need for 20GB of hard drive space and minimum, recommended, and "ultra" specifications.

The game's minimum specifications require a DirectX 11 graphics card with 1GB RAM, a quad-core CPU, and 4GB of system RAM. The recommended specs are a DX11 GPU with 2GB of RAM, an eight-core CPU, and 8GB of system RAM.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft's "ultra" specs for Watch Dogs recommends over 8GB of system RAM alongside an Nvidia GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, and an Intel Core i7-3930K or AMD FX-9370 processor.

Ubisoft will released Watch Dogs for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on November 19. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will also be available at launch.

@Primeyuri @Max_160 stop being picky now. first 780 now 680. when they release them the price is always higher. it depends on fluctuation ratio of price between the release date of CPU vs GPU, and it's t he reason some people might have a bit less power on one or the other. as long as it's nothing significant it won't matter, especially when you can overclock one to match the other.

@Max_160 @Primeyuri @mexetudo13 sure but is less powerfull. Maybe because it will be more optimized for amd cpu's because of new console that it will work the same.

Those ain't really high end cards are they and Watchdogs looks awesome

PC gaming is really held back by consoles

Whats the point of Nvidia releasing so many cards

GTX 680, 690, 760, 770, 780, Titan

@shreddyz @Supabul 460GTX can do a lot more than what current gen console can . Run Witcher 2 on high settings then compare it with xbox version .

@Supabul This is the most stupid comment I read in long time . Every video card series bring new effects and performance improvements to the table that are missing on old hardware . Want them .? Well and good . Don't want .? Stick with current card .

@Supabul What I do not understand is why they need more than 6 GB RAM when the .exe will only use 4 GB? Or am I missing the need for a 64 Bit OS meaning that it will address more RAM?
