Yakuza 2 is a sequel to Yakuza a Japanese brawler rpg. It's a surprisingly good game. It does take some commitment to play this game. It's not the type of game someone could play for hours on end straight. Yakuza 2 has a great but complicated story. I recommend playing the first game but it's fine if you don't. At the beginning game there is a feature to recap the player on what happened in the last game. In this game everything has been improved from the fighting to the graphics. In this game the area to explore has doubled. In this game you are able to explore to Japanese cities Tokyo and Kansai. You play Kazuma Kiryu a Japanese x-yakuza member. Fans of the original game will definitely enjoy this game. It is longer and there is more things to do in this game. The main story can take around 20 hours to beat and hours of additional side quests can keep players busy. SIdequests range from helping an old lady to managing your own restaurant. The game does have a few flaws though. The game is completely narrated in Japanese and subtitled in English unlike the first game. Also some of the game drags on with unnecessary missions that are thrown in just to lengthen the campaign. But all in all it's a good game and worth a pick up for it's story and fun fighting.
