@dr_jashugan You should check out Ultima V: Lazarus. It's a remake of the fifth game using the Dungeon Siege engine. You need the original Dungeon Siege to download and play it first though; shouldn't be too expensive to find.

@dr_jashugan Huzzahz, I agree.

Ultima V is the unsung Ultima. Other than Spoony's review, no other reviewer has bothered to give props to the RPG that invented fantasy with a living breathing world, day/night cycles and inhabitants going about actual daily tasks. All on low density 5 1/4 floppies.

For half a second I thought: "Finally, somebody at Gamespot actually cares about the significance of Ultima. This kind of article is almost a decade past due, but I'm glad it's finally here".

After watching this video I can say "Thanks Wikipedia, for giving this jerk all the info he needed to pretend he knows anything about Ultima." Nobody at Gamespot has spent so much as a second actually playing a single Ultima game. Nore do they care to. Its sad to see somebody just brush over the key points from Ultima's Wikipedia entry. There was nothing offered here from personal experience or love of classic PC gaming. Shame on you Gamespot, surely any employee on your payroll is better than this.

@whodagoose It's not their fault. None of them were alive when the games were out.
