The Point - Should you buy a VITA?

that designt must change. dpad and analogs small and useless. what is more games are not good. many games are downloadable and childish. if you check out psp games u will see what im talking about. monster hunter , wrc , resistance , gow , gta, and more..

I sort of want to get the Vita cuz then I can rely on PS+ and not buy games lol

But I also want to get a 3Ds because of its 3D screen, I find it more interesting. But still haven't seen any game on the 3Ds that really caught my attention, rather than RE: Revelations, which I got for the PS3 not long ago.

Oh and the PSP was cool imo, until mine got stolen ;O Played the heck out of games like Tekken DR, Warriors Orochi and Jean D'arc.

well, Price cut has made me consider a Vita lately.

The Vita icon should be square, or hexagon, anything other than round. Do a major update Sony!

I love it for persona 4 golden but that's the only "great" game available for the device, everything else is just average and I don't have a thing for platform games like little big planet. I tried to use it also for Skype but the video is horrible and the quality is half as good as a cheap tablet.

I don't agreed with you Danny! One of things Sony is known for! Is from their awesome designs in devices(hardware's) and user interfaces. Honestly I like psp is a great device better then the handholds from Nintendo but they have hard time to compete with them, and psp have many great games, not only the ones you refer in the video. Ps Vita is fantastic piece of hardware, have almost the same power like a playstation 3 in a hand hold device, is in fact fantastic!

I still don't feel done with my psp or ds, hahaha.

Once I finish all the games I want on them, MAYBE.

I think the controls are too tightly packed together and analog sticks are a bit flimsy and small. But for a handheld, there seems to be a good selection of games that aren't just 2D platformers, with decent(ish) visuals and controls. Why anyone would buy a 3DS over a Vita is probably due to sheeping or being unaware of the Vita, or purely just not having a smartphone.

Or, you know, you can get a 3DS for much less and a lot more games. Oh, right, I forgot, everyone has a 3DS already.

I only bought PSP for its great games, serious games. not some low budget indie games. I do like indie games, but buying a console (handheld or not) for this purpose? No, absolutely not! I can watch movies out door with tablet or lab-top. I can listen to music by a tiny MP3 player or iPod or even with cell phone. I can surf internet with all of these. I can play simple games on Android or iOS devices. so why the hell should I pay for an expensive piece of shit when it doesn't use its great hardware potentials. Vita has some interesting and unique features but it doesn't use 'em appropriately or in a innovative way. also most of Vita's titles are some average games. everybody some how knew there will be COD, little big planet or uncharted titles on this console. but are they really enough AAA titles to support Vita?

with the money spent on a vita, acessories, games, cards, you could upgrade your pc and buy loads of great AAA titles... imagine if u already have a great rig...

I want a Vita, but I feel the need to hold out, thinking(hoping) that they'll make a revision that has an A/V out for HDTV play. That was one awesome feature of the PSP.

i think ps3 is better than 360 cuz of free online and all that, but i think the xbox one is going to be way better than the ps4. oh wait... were talking about vita
