The Xbox One version has better colors vs the PS4 version but the PC version wins

I'm getting it for my Xbox One, never finished it on last-gen

why 1080p only? Its was the standard 3 years ago on pc, no we are beyond 1080p. This need also some ultra hd texture pack.

You can obviously see that the Xbox One version has more VIVID COLORS. Xbox wins again!!!

Underwhelming, to say the least.

Why is the brightness turned up on the PC version? And why aren't you using the Definitive Edition that just released? You should also learn how to record properly on PC.

I'd have expected the Xbone and PS4 versions to be exactly the same as the PC in this, but it isn't. Infact I'd even go as far asto say the Xbone looks slightly better than the PS4 version.

Of course this is a compressed video running at 720p , as always these videos never look as good as the actual game running, plus it has 4k support now on PC, which is definitely not shown here.

The game was a joke on last-gen even when it came out.Now console players can finally experience a bit of what's been on PC for the past 5 years.

The game was very good with the crappy graphics on the xbox 360. I don't feel the need to play it again but to anyone who likes this kind of games and have missed when the first versions came out I strongly advise you to buy it.

Graphic comparison does not look the same on a HDTV from a computer monitor. PS3 looks good on a computer but on a high quality TV is still looks like crap. The difference is going to be like all the other remastered version that has come out so far. This is going to look amazing on the PS4.

If the graphical difference is as much as Tomb Raider Definitive....im buying this.....otherwise not so sure....i remember this game being brilliant though

@dani_i89 @dani_i89 so what do you play??This game does look different by the way and on a 1080p screen it will look EVEN better. I think you may just be a noob who cant tell the difference just like how old people can't. They have tripled the texture resolution , they have added some new lighting effects, they increased the shadow quality , they have increased the draw distance, they have made the game dx11 so they may have added some new tessellation and mapping effects.

Lastly they probably gave the game AA and more AF. The only thing they haven't done and why your noobish eyes cant see the difference is the do anything about the polygon count. That would however require completely remaking the game, and take alot longer and is kinda pointless seeing as the polygon count was already decent. They may have increased polygon count on some static objects though, as its easier to do that, than on characters that need animation.

Unsurprisingly, the console definitive edition looks like the original PC version with less anti-aliasing and less population. I wonder what the differences between the original PC version and the definitive PC version are though... if there are any differences at all that is...

Oh well, whatever the case, this was a great game, one of the best sandbox games of recent times with a refreshing locale and so I'm glad more people will get to enjoy it. Have fun roaming around Hong Kong guys!

Wow....a re-release of a d-grade game that no-one asked for, that doesn't really look any different in it's execution. Big win for gamers there

It looks better, sadly it was the unconvincing look and feel of the environments that needed the TLC, not the rendering engine/textures.

Honestly, I'd rather have all the relationship system and unresolved missions fixed than a slight graphical improvement.

If they're not doing that with the next gen version, then I honestly couldn't give a damn.

That said, it probably wouldn't be worth it for anyone with a lesser PC unless they've made some crazy optimisations to the engine.

i want to know about the differences in color and contrast have to do with the version of the settings for each tv/monitor. because the the xbox version looks so deep in color and darker in contrast and the pc version looks likes its too bright with washed out colors and the ps4 version looks almost like watercolor in contrast to the xbox which looks like crayons were used. besides that the obvious things remain with regards to lighting pc wins but barely and its a little bit less jaggy and the ps4 version holds up very well especially in close ups with faces.

i just payed this game off today alone with evil within. i didnt get to play this game last gen so im glad they came out with this version as the pc was the only thing i tried it on b4. but my laptop couldnt handle it so x1 version for me!

The Sega Genesis version will own all these other versions !!

yeah the PS4 version is the way to go if you're getting it on console

It seems the PS4 version looks closer to the PC version. The Xbox one version looks a bit darker. The PS3 and 360 version both look the same.
