Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition - Graphics Comparison

What crappy PC did they use for this? I'm playing this on MY PC, and its totally shitting on the PS4 and XONE versions. I mean, unlike consoles PCs can have a wide range of specs. Did they compare the PC graphics at like minimal settings? If you go into options and set everything to WAY HIGH, it looks way better than that. I mean, I'm running the game at 1080p with two Nvidia M700s in SLI.

might as well buy it. every stupid game released for the "new generation" are like this. imagine if this game was never released last generation. what would you people be saying?

Scam! Get far away from it! Unless you don't have last gen and want to play the game, on you new gen console.

This game should be 29.99 on ps4 and Xbox one, not a very big difference...guess they are trying to milk it dry...

The difference between last-gen and next-gen is so insignificant it doesnt warrent a £40 price tag.

So I know I'm not the only one who finds these videos ridiculous (for a number of reasons), but what irritates me the most is the random moving side-by-side comparisons going all over the F'in place, and switching between random consoles and PC at the editors leisure! It's so freakin' hard to follow, your eyes are constantly darting all over the screen trying to spot differences... maybe I just have concentration issues lol.

Just gives us some damn high resolution screen shots of areas where you might actually notice a difference. Most of the time we're getting beginning game cut-scenes and that kind of crap in these videos on top of the total random nature of the editing...

So a PC comparison on a compressed video without showing any resolution higher than 1080p.

for console that can only play video games PS4 isn't that much better than XBOX ONE.

as usual, the difference is too small to justify any bitching, but if thats your thing(you know who you are) by all means then.

Seems like a money grab to me I bought it a played it on 360 and can't see enough of a reason to get it on x1

@El_Zaggy Hi person of internet, you realise us pc gamers gamed on higher resolutions than "1080p" since 2000s ? 2500x 1600 etc....

X1- Better draw distance, less pop-in PS4- Better lighting effects, possibly better AO

Game Developers/publishers should focus on bringing new gameplay experiences that hasn't been done before and not re- release the same game that was released years ago with pretty graphics lol

Sleeping Dogs was not worth a remake. I played it and was very glad I got it on sale. Its a fun game but its also very limited. I would never have paid full price. Now they have an HD edition that was basically already on PC and it doesnt improve a damn thing aside from sharper graphics. Not worth it at all. Not unless you havent played the game anyway. Even then Id wait for a sale to make it all the sweeter.

Wow. There really is almost no difference between this generation and last generation consoles. I feel bad for people who wasted their money.

Sort of tired with all the remaking strategies that SE applies for so many games. I wouldn't even say this looks better the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, probably due to the absence of Nixxes' help in this case. It looks better, but not far better. It'd be better for them to make a sequel or something else.
