I thought very illy of the 3ds at first but now it seems kind of cool, and i'll have to get one anyway because of the new games for it. I'm just disappointed at how many ds handhelds there have been in the past, and that I already bought a dsi which i expected to last me a long time, certainly longer than two years or so. I guess i just think this could have been done some time ago. but i probably say that because i don't exactly get this whole 3d without 3d glasses thing; psp has 3d without 3d glasses. I won't know till i experience it; can anyone shed any light on the situation for me?
Now this is what I've been waiting for; Sorry, Microsoft but Xbox live just took a dive in my budget :) I guess I'm finnaly going to buy a Wii, I've got so much to catch up :D
this is finally a significant upgrade to DS. i dont really care about 3d, though it is pretty cool and can be used very interestingly im sure. but im most excited about the larger top screen, "slider pad", and graphics update. the 3ds has graphics better than the gamecube now, thankfully. at least its caught up to the PSP lol.
@cosita46 Probably you're part of the audience they are trying to reach with the 3D slider, don't you think? :) I know I am going to use it when playing in the bus home.
@famguyfan2685: I don't think it's fair to say that. Yeah there are a lot of disappointing party games on the Wii, but if you don't like them you simply don't play them. Anyway the Wii has some great titles, like the three you mentioned amongst others. The XBox and PS3 have more disappointing games, the only games they have on their consoles are rubbish shooters and a few platform games that are simply no where near as good as any of the Mario titles.
lol , 'Saints row' *crowd laughs* (guess noone likes it), Still, the 3DS looks good, games lineup looks solid: Kingdom hearts, MGS, Resident evil, Assassins Creed and 1st party games. Had my doubts, but looks like Nintendo still has it.
This is a major disappointment for me. I have given up on Nintendo at this point. Its great that they're trying to do something "new", but I feel like it will be the downfall of the system. Branding the new handheld console as 3D will lead to nothing but an endless string of worthless 3rd party games that feature one gimicky 3D feature, much like the slew of awful games that were released for the Wii. I only bought the Wii for Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime, and sold it after beating both several times because it became obvious that Nintendo has completely lost touch with serious gamers. Good luck, Nintendo...
