I think the Mole gives her that slight edge in terms of looking real. I mean, look at Soul Calibur, all the females in the game who are hardened warriors, along with the girls in Tekken.....not a single scar or blemish....REALLY???
i'm still not sold on how the switch to first person will work. echoing what others have said, without the nunchuck it seems like it'll just be a gimic and a nuisance... this game concept is awesome though.
Sweet! And this being a game from Team Ninja, I can see that Team Ninja just CAN'T resist buffing some of Samus Aran's assets - not to the extent of that of a certain demon-huntress who is ill-clad for her line of work or beach-frolickers in off-canon games, fortunately.
Amazing! Buy the way: what's up with the mole (on Samus' face. Samus doesnt have mole ever. Not even on the SSBB). Anyway, an excellent game for the Wii. "Nice moves (giant swing, headlocks, etc.)" :)
Yay... this looks so awesome. This game is shaping up to be great, like... Metroid Prime 1 great! Already have this pre ordered. As for her mole, who cares... maybe she draws it on herself... lololol
The Prime games were fantastic, but having played Metroid since NES I noticed how much Samus had slowed down. That is no fault of Retro. So far, the kind of aggressive and athletic moves Samus is famous for, can't really be done well in the first person. Mirror's Edge has probably come closest and that game had many flaws even with the power of the PS3 and X360. This looks to be a fantastic Metroid game. The action level seems to be on par with Fusion.
Please tell me you will be able to move, or at least strafe, while in first person mode. The lack of nunchuck suggests otherwise. Looks like a pretty fun game though.
Seems full of win: switching from 3rd to 1st person, faster pacing, melee moves, voice. Since the series has already reached perfection in 3rd person gameplay with Super Metroid and then with 1st person gameplay with Prime, it makes sense to combine the two and then try to add new things to the mix. Can't wait!
"Design artist team : Let's put a MOLE on her face, so she'll be SO UNIQUE. / FAIL." If you're actually complaining about something that ridiculous, you have issues.
This new Metroid looks awesome, Samus seems to be faster and more agile than ever, she even has melee and grapple attacks. Will Other M be the definitive title? I'm glad they got Team Ninja to develop it. The Prime series was great, but this new direction (more hectic and action focused) looks very promising. Can't wait to play it.
This is looking pretty epic. Looks to keep a pace that Super Metroid had when everything is said and done, which is sleek and fast. Here is hoping everything comes together nicely.
