Cloud services technically aren't linked to the lifecycle of the hardware. Sony already has cloud services that support the PS4. There is no reason to believe that their server capabilities couldn't be upgraded in the background and via a software update should it actually make a difference (and outside of processing a racing game AI it hasn't been shown to make a difference yet).

HDMI input? So you can pass through video from another device. What now?

4k resolution was the only thing that made any sense to argue. How about you go back, edit your original post to make a point that really matters, and then respond to this instead of banging on one drum of despair and a couple little bongos of nobody gives a shit.

I don't have to argue with all your points because i don't care about all of them.My only preoccupation here was yours about 4K,you mentioned it like it had some kind of relevancy gaming wise.I'm sorry but like i already said it doesn't,those consoles can't handle it.The subject at hand here in this thread is gaming resolution and like many uninformed consumers,you were just gobbling MS pr BS like hot cake and regurgitating it without knowing what it meant.

4K TVs/Monitors do exist,4K will probably be eventually be the norm but NONE of those "next gen" consoles can render it natively at a decent graphical settings and framerate.They just utterly lack the power to do so,period.I don't recall Sony or MS putting hardware equivalent to a Geforce Titan or Amd equivalent in their device.You want 4K,it's probably going to be the generation after and i'm being optimist...

If it's 4K movies(and i'm pretty sure that's what they are referring to) sure but 4K gaming?

@MiltoxBeyond whats your saying makes no sense, If we go by your logic that means any poll that doesn't include everyone is useless. Its called a sample and out of the millions of gamers 180,000 is a pretty good sample and I would be willing to bet if every gamer in the world voted on that website the percentage would only change by 10% tops. Whats your saying would make all human studies ever done invalid because they didn't include the entire human race? I really don't understand some peoples logic, but whatever everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

It is just a poll that gets a tiny amount of votes (yes 180,000 is tiny considering the population of gamers) on a site that is not that well known (a poll on IGN, Gamespot, etc would be a bit more meaningful). Statistically speaking, that poll is about as valid as a blind person launching darts at a board to choose the more popular system.

Without passionate gamers Xbox would still require a 24 hour internet connection and all disc based games would still just be useless install discs. your argument doesn't have any merit and is not based on any facts and is downright insulting to true gamers.
