I'm guessing you have seen those 'new' Mario games? WELL THEY SUCK!! they dont do it like they used to. they dont have...'it'. ya, my sister asked about all the charectors, and they were all there, so she said, then what are they missing? I said, It's not what they dont have, it's what they ADDED. why make it high-tech when it is all it needs to be already. this is a prime example of what a video game SHOULD be. why cant they make 2D platformers anymore? all games have to be 3D and high-tech. If they were going to destroy Mario, couldn't they at least do it in 2D, without all that added CRAP? Mario never had to get Yoshi out of the egg by getting fruit. Yoshi came out automatically, without having to be coaxed with a banana. Mario deserves a cape, not some water-squirter. it isnt super-soaker, its Super Mario. Mario doesn't need a water-thingy to kill his foes, he needs to knock them on the head and break bridges with hammers and throw shells. do you see any shell-throwing in the new Mario games? no? thats what I thought. when we saw Mario start, we thought, "wow. this is awesome. shell-thowing is Marios thing." and now he doesn't use one of his best foe-killers that he had. if nobody up-graded gaming to 3D, we would all be happy with that and why would we need 3D, but we DO have it, and their abusing it. now people think that if a game isnt 3D, its old news and that it is boring. they take one look and say its boring because Mario doesn't move in all directions or do 'kamehameha!' moves or do 'combos' they dont play it and see if it is boring, they look and say, "hey, thats not for the newest system, thats a dinosaur and noboby should play that because its older that a year." and I'm tired of it. how about they play Super Mario World and find out what Mario is, nay, WAS. now the Princess is not even getting stolen sometimes and there are new enemies that are not about Mario. this here, however, is classic gameplay and this is where guys startedgetting addicted to video games, this is what re-sparked the Mario siries and its thanks to this game that people can ruin Mario again and again and again. this was like a new biginning to Mario and we should all savour it and say, "gee. this game is the best and how did the companies come up with that crap that they have today." because the truth is, the only 3D Mario game that is good is Super Mario 64 and not for the DS or the Wii, for the N64, which is another thing people are making fun of because it is...14? the SNES and the N64 are classic, but because, this is for Super Mario World, this game rules, go ahead and try to beat it. you wont do it.
