Nothing appeases me more than brutal combat and free roam.

Sleeping Dogs is the supposed continuation to the true crimes series until Activision dropped it and Square Enix did. I have to say, i expected this game to be somewhat typical to free roam games, you get your cars, the women, and the gunplay. But this game does add flare with the melee combat and being able to brutally attack people using the environment. Gunplay is well done too, you can use bullet-time like abilities and shoot in a slow-mo type of gameplay or go out guns-blazing. Story is very well done too, they always mix-up the story and it's never feeling too linear to the point you can expect everything (this is my opinion, if you're the type of person that's easily considered a snob you probably won't like this).
Overall i don't think i've played as fun of a game with an open-world with a well-done story since GTA San Andreas. This is a fantastic game, this game has tons of replayability and hopefully some DLC will make the story last longer despite the fact that i've spent over 14 hours just trying to do the story, the story is long but it can be longer.
