Too many issues, and it's giving me issues

First off, not enough save points after leaving the hospital. Some sites mention you can save at the town hall, I could not find any save point at town hall. I had to go all the way to the house, but there's no save there. I got killed several times from the enemies' one hit kills, luckily the game didn't make me go back to the hospital save. But I got tired and had to quit for the night - without saving. The next time I played I had to go all the way back to the hospital save. That just really really really bites.

Once I replayed the game, back in the hospital, the were issues with the sound. I was only getting half the audio. This was not the case during the first play through. So half the game WAS VERY FREAKING LOUD! and the rest was barely audible. I missed out on much of the dialogue.

Then I made it to the cememtary. I jumped down into the pit. The dog jumped me... and I couldn't get it off. I couldn't kill it. I [alt/tab] out of the game to look around the internet but couldn't find a solution. I went back to the game and it crashed. This means I would've had to go all the way back to the hospital again, because there was no way to save the game up to the point where the dog was.

Needless to say that I did not replay. I uninstalled and will never, never, never play another Silent Hill game as long as I live. Never. Mark my words: Never, never, never.

I am so sick of buggy games that don't get fixed or have complicated work arounds. I'm just about done with gaming, because I will never buy another gaming console, and PC is plagued with bugs and horrible DRM protections.

By by gaming. I guess I'll pull the roller blades back out of the closet. Maybe find the fishing rod, too.
