This game is fun but not nearly what the hype was leading up to. I was hoping for a bit more Fallout 3 type role playing with more badguys and polish. Unfortunately, it is not even close to Fallout 3 but a combination of Borderlands, Doom 3, and the wasteland. The hype aside, I still think this is a fun game to play. Despite the terrible reviews given after two minutes of play by others based on graphics issues, my Geforce GTX 285 is chugging along with settings on high with no notable problems in the first three hours of gameplay. The characters are great which helps to keep some of the mundane tasks from getting boring. Cool weapon options and plenty of driving keep the pace up as well. The size of the install is massive which may be a problem for lower end PCs as well as the the graphic load so that should be a consideration before buying. Otherwise, this is a fun enough game to certainly not merit some of the bad reviews given.
Update (10/9/2011): I was able to fix most of the graphical problems using some config files that were provided on the Steam forums. These seemed to clear up most of the texture problems for me. I still get strange ... Read Full Review
