@what101: yeah except it doesn't back up your claim at all since you were talking about US dollars.
Also, don't use Reddit as a source lol
It's not my claim you dunce. If you bothered to read a little, You'd see that the only thing I said is that it's true in some parts of the world such as Europe and Japan which is why it's causing some confusion. Someone didn't make it up, they probably checked a UK website and mistook that fact for the rest of the world and it gained some traction.
However it it makes you feel a little better for your internet street cred, I'll give you the reddit post. The image isn't made up, and it's source comes from reddit. However you're right, a social platform isn't a source.
GTA will always be a franchise that I just don't get the popularity. There are games that I'm not into, but I get why they're popular.
Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Dark Souls, Overwatch, Fortnite,
Those are games that are straight boring to me, but I can see why they're popular to other people. GTA will always be baffling to me specially considering that there's other more enjoyable open world games out there.
San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption (Not GTA, I know) were fun though.
@girlusocrazy: Nintendo's plan is to have plenty of stock at launch, but nothing stops people from pricing whatever they want on Ebay. I can price a Q-tip for a million dollars on Ebay if I wanted to.
Whether the system sells out and people that want one can't buy one remains to be seen, but at any point people can price whatever they want on Ebay. It isn't an indication that people are buying it though, at least not yet.
@midairman: Like I said, where? You can say that, but if you don't provide a source that's not very helpful. I'm looking at Bestbuy right now and Mario Kart World (physical) is listed at 80. They don't even have Duskbloods listed anywhere yet.
Europe and Japan do price physical higher than digital, but it's not just Nintendo though. I did see a report that said it's confirmed that MKW will be 10 euros more.
