God I Hate School!!!

As you can probably guess, I had my first day of school today. I'm a junior in high school and it was a pain in the ass! First class I have, advanced French. That's not the time of day for me to have to speak a foreign language, let alone my original language (English, as you can probably guess  ). Second period, chemistry, where I have a quiz tomorrow on the first ten elements of the periodic table, hydrogen, helium, fluorine, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, boron, neon, lithium, and beryllium. Third period math, with a really boring teacher, one of those ones who pretty much lectures and nothing more. Fourth period english, not too bad. Fifth period lunch. Sixth period study hall, seventh period, and the real killer, advanced US history, a college course. All I hope is that I pass the course, but that's not even guarunteed :( Eighth period Gym or Chem. Lab, depending on what day it is, A or B. Ninth period study hall or programming class, again depening on what day it is.

All I can say is, I ****ING HATE SCHOOL! :P

New Sig

I know I've already said this in my sig, but I wish to formally thank BladeMaster75 for creating my new sig.

It's of the three mages of Final Fantasy 1, from left to right, White Mage, Red Mage, Black Mage. Thanks again Blade!

Wii Wii Wii all the way home!

I dont care what the experts say about the Wii about it being underpowered or, as is the staple of Nintendo bashers, being too kiddy, I'm getting one. I'd rather shell out $200 for twenty years of games and more to come, than shell out in excess of $400 for ten or less years of gaming, in the case of the Playstation and XBox, respectively. I want to play my old NES games without having to take them out and blow on them for five minutes. I also want to play those Japan-Exclusive games that I crave for (IE. Fire Emblem, Star Ocean). Nintendo may be the bargin basement of consoles, but it definitely is a diamond in the rough.

Long Live Nintendo!

Rockstar's New Game

From the same people that brought you Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the first game in recent history to recieve the dreaded AO rating, for the Xbox 360 is, electronic ping-pong?!? What the hell! I thought that these dudes were real pioneers, but now that their game has taken the AO title, they're wussing out? Come on, be serious for a minute. I'd expect Rockstar to burn its hq to the ground, stomp on the ashes and set them ablaze again before they'd even begin to think of satisfying those crazed lunatics in Washington D.C. I mean, if this is what gaming is going to become, then I had better burn up my game collection along with my consoles!
Then again, considering the flak they took for the Hot Coffee incident, as well as numerous GTA inspired crimes, I'm not completely shocked. And as always I end my blog with:

Long Live Nintendo!

Fanboys

Meh. Fanboys are nothing more than gamers with obsession-compulsive disorder. They are so obsessed with their company that they will bash anyone else who doesn't believe like them, even if their info is all wrong. I don't care if someone likes Microsoft or Sony over Nintendo. We all are entitled to our opinions, so why do people find that the opposite is true? I'm a moderate Nintendo-ite. Moderate in the sense that I will play Xbox and PS2 without having to bash it every minute. Nintendo has plenty of machine-specific games, such as Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros. and Advance Wars. It always seems that Nintendo is bashed for being too "kiddy", but the only thing "kiddy" around here are the sensless bashers of other people's opinions. Long live Nintendo!

The Politics of Gameplay

In those times I play Halo I think of how Jack Thompson (or whatever his name is) and Hillary Clinton and how they must loathe people like me. I'm 15 and I play M rated games. I haven't shot up stores or cops like in GTA. I haven't done anything that merits criminal prosecution because video games influenced me. All people need to realize is that a game is a game and that in real life there are far greater consequences than having to spend 6 game hours in the county jail.

I bet that the polititians that are for strict gaming laws have kids that either knowingly or behind their backs play GTA, Halo, or Doom, or all of the above.

Just another way that the government is favoring the rich and is screwing over its citizens.
