Final Fantasy IX
It doesn't re-invent the series, but it does breath new life into it, making IX a hallmark title in the series history.
After some fans cried about FFVIII, one would guess Square thought it best to return to it's roots with Final Fantasy IX. While it does have a nostalgic feeling too it, FFIX is a completely new addition to the series tha... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy VIII (Platinum)
in the end FFVIII remains a tried and true addition to the Final Fantasy name.
After Square dished out Final Fantasy VII, the world truly saw the power of next generation RPGs. Not only in graphical beauty, but in story and character. The game truly made the series 3D entry a landmark one. So when ... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII is one of the RPG gods. If you haven't played it yet, you know you should.
Now before I get stabbed in the back by katana-weilding fans, let me state that I love Final Fantasy VII. I really do. When I first heard of this game back in the day, I wasn't really all that impressed. My nieghbor i... Read Full Review

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Limited Edition)
in the end you'll find a wonderful RPG which is more than worthy of the series' name.
First there was the bad-ass Zelda clip that showed Link fighting Gannon, then there was the rumors of a remake of Ocarina of Time, and finally there was Wind Waker. Oh what a ruckus Wind Waker made. I think i still hear ... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy X-2
if you can over look the fact that X-2 isn't the 'next final fantasy' then you can have a great time revisiting Spira.
Final Fantasy X rocked the RPG world. Everyone loved the characters, story, and world; so it wasn't any surprise when Square annouced plans to create a sequel. Well, i mean it was surprising merely because it hadn't been... Read Full Review

Silent Hill 3
Past fans of Silent Hill will love this game and new comers will find a game both beautiful and truly haunting.
I must confess to you all my sins before I even give any opinion on this game. You see, I played Silent Hill 3 before any other game in the series. Yes, i am a sequel-first player. I didn't know where to find the previou... Read Full Review

Silent Hill 4: The Room
SH4 is true to the series name, although it doesn't take it forward much at all.
Silent Hill has always been my favorite series when it comes to the Horror genre. Resident Evil never horrified me and isn't that really the point? Silent Hill on the other hand has given me nightmares and filled my head... Read Full Review

Psychonauts
Psychonauts isn't the shiniest looking marbel in the bag, but it is certainly the most fun to play with.
Psychonauts. What can I really say about this game? It's amazing, it's funny, it's refreshing, it's funny, and it also happens to be pretty funny too. The game revolves around Raz, a boy with psychic powers who runs a... Read Full Review

Pocket Monsters Emerald
While Emerald succeeds in adding quirks to the game, it doesn't add anything worth a second-or third-trip to Hoen for.
I'm giving this a review simply because I bought the game and I feel as though I should. As we all know Nintendo struck gold with Pokemon, and it is not going to let it go just yet. Oh no, it still has to milk it dry ... Read Full Review

Animal Crossing: Wild World
If you're tired of playing solo on your Gamecube version, then take the DS for a spin because it is truly a Wild World.
At first I was a little bummed to hear that the next Animal Crossing was a DS only game. I was hyped up in hopes that Nintendo would make a true sequel for the Gamecube as opposed to a port for the DS. Now, however, i'm ... Read Full Review

Shadow Hearts (PlayStation2 the Best)
Shadow Hearts is a standard RPG in terms of production value, but the people who are going to enjoy the game won't care.
Shadow Hearts was one of the many RPGs lost in the shuffle between Final Fantasy games, which is unfortunate because I found Shadow Hearts to be just as entertaining as any other big-name RPG, and in some ways it's even ... Read Full Review
