Hey all. Sorry this is so late, I've been really busy!
1. Fallout New Vegas

I thought Fallout 3 was a great game. It had its flaws, but was overall a great game. Its sequel/spin off, Fallout: New Vegas starts out as you wake up after being shot in the head and left for dead. You customize your character, then set off to find out who shot you. The game is pretty non-linear, so you can decide whether you want to speed run through the main quest, or wander along, doing quests as you want.
For me, it's greatest strength is its atmosphere. The old-west/cowboy vipe runs throughout the entire game, and is a nice break from the bleak ruins of Washington D.C. The game uses the same engine as Fallout 3, so it has the same graphics as F3 when it was released two years ago. The new focal point of the game is Hardcore mode, which is basically a harder version of the base game. Ammo has weight, you have to eat and drink , your companions can die, and you need a regular sleep pattern. I haven't tried this mode though.
Overall, this game feels more like a massive expansion pack for Fallout 3, but whoever said that was a bad thing?
