Well, it has been a while. I barely recognize the place. I regret not being very active, life has just been too busy to find any time for Gamestop. I can't say that I am coming back, although I may be a bit more active than before.

Hello all! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been rather busy. Anyhow, three days ago I received in the mail my copy of Dead Island. Initial thoughts?

I like it. It has flaws, and it is fairly buggy, but for what it is it's fun. The gore is fantastic and the weapons brutal, but the accents are just awful. No Australians sound like that :evil:

Hey all. Just this morning I pre-ordered two games I have really been looking forward to:

Dead Island CE (PS3), and

Skyrim EB CE (PC)

After the Skyrim CE ran out, Ebgames announced the EBgames edition, including a steelbook, notebook, and 4 card-thingos for normal price. Not bad.

Dead Island CE also looks good, with free Turtle Beach headsets (RRP $90)

Hey all. I really want to pre-order Battlefield 3, but I have no idea what console to get it on. Here are some pros/cons for each system:

Trophies :D
Can play with Friends
Better graphics
Larger screen
More comfortable (Leather reclining chairs FTW)

Cons:
More expensive
Weird controls
Further from the kitchen D:
No jets

PC:

Pros:

Better graphics (if I upgrade my GPU)
Better controls
Cheaper
Jets :D
More players (64 as opposed to 32)

Cons:
Inferior graphics (if I don't upgrade my GPU)
No trophies D:
No friends
The case isn't a blu-ray case
Smaller screen

If I buy it now, it means I cannot spend any money on Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City or Battlefield 3.

Fantastic period pieces, loved the story, and Hugo Weaving was great in it :D

Great film, 9.5/10

*I hate 3D so much. Do not watch Captain America in 3D, it is a waste of your money.
