Is it possible to do a console which is upgradeable? Either by physical modification or where the console gains you access to a server which they can continually upgrade each year to keep up with rapidly improving technology? N64 had something similar albeit on a much smaller scale with the RAM pack you could install to improve certain games look and performance and that was a decade ago.
I'm good with a 7. There are many games that have received a 7 which I've ended up enjoying more than the reviewer. Example: Hell, a particular website gave Alien Isolation a 5 and for me it was a 9.
Battlefront is a fun game to play, I had the Access and decided I would pick it up but mostly because I'm a fan of Star Wars (not a convention type fan but a fan none the less). However, I don't spend any extra money on 90% of games for DLC or season passes so the investment is minimal.
@Gelugon_baat: even Mass Effect? The former or the upcoming. I like a boycott as much as the next guy but just wondering. I don't really eat fast food anymore but years ago when I did I got food poisoning at a Burger King and so did 9 other people I was with on a road trip to a friend of ours wedding and haven't eaten there to this day! We all started dropping like flies that evening!
10 year deal! Sounds like how they locked up the NFL license and stifled the competition so they could mediocrely add one new feature every year and not really try to innovate. Ugh.
That's a hell of a deal at Newegg if you didn't already rush out and buy BO3 & F4 already. Who couldn't use an extra controller for basically $10 bucks?
@kdawgnmann: I'm playing the campaign through for the 2nd time and finding it much better and I'm taking time to soak in the details on Heroic. Funny, to me, MP only games aren't worth $60, I'd much rather have SP that has good replay value. I don't think I've ever played any AC game twice though, they're too long and I don't have the time for the grind. Also wouldn't pay $60 for it but I'll pick it up once it's $20-$30 bucks one day.
@awperator666: Star Wars will crush Fallout. It will attract every Star Wars fan of Every age, casuals, and parents will scoop it up for kids. Fallout is geared for adults and those with tons of "spare" time on their hands. Just sayin.
MS should've gone w/ GDDR5 and this wouldn't be an ongoing PR issue. I have both consoles and am happy w/ both, looking forward to EA Access to SW Battlefront next week, I for one don't care if its 900 or 1080P, they both look great on my 55" 240Hz tv at 9ft distance.
