So far I generally like Forza 7. I'm eagerly anticipating playing it on my X1X which will arrive in about 5 weeks. I hope that with the system upgrade that the load times will reduce greatly. As of now, I feel like it takes a good 30-45 seconds or more (I haven't timed it I just know it's a while) to load the next race which can be rather annoying.
I also don't like how the VIP got nerfed. It used to be you got double xp and/or coin for unlimited amount of time by buying the Ult Ed/VIP package. Now you get these cards that come w 5 uses each and then they're done.
Also, this game is a lot more stingy with money payouts and earning enough money to buy the high end cars takes forever. That coupled with the fact that you have to buy $200,000 cars or Mercedes Trucks for Level 2 races along the way for cars you would never want to own kind of sucks.
The tracks and graphics look great but are extremely familiar. They are mostly the same we've been racing in since at least Forza 5 that I can remember. Forza 4 had the Bestbuy variety of tracks if you ask me.
I've also been playing DriveClub again and like the "made up" tracks that that game provides.
We'll, I've already preordered Mario and NBA2K18 for my Switch so there's that. I'm planning on renting most of the rest from GameFly beginning w Shadow of Mordor but perhaps I'll wait to play all these on the X1X which comes out in about a month.
Played 6 rounds of TDM yesterday. The maps are cool, the sound is great, I did pretty well but left feeling disappointed because in the tightest of maps, quick scoping sniper 1 shots are still a thing. The end replay had a guy quick scope 4 people on a row for the win.....Great.....while my gun with banana clip turned people into bullet sponges. Still the same old COD.
