these comparisons are stupid...they regulate the PS3 to 720 even on games where 1080p is available...the comparison should be of both machines running at their maximum output. THAT'S true comparison. this is like comparing how a camry and a ferrari both do at 70mph. it's retarded. crank them both to the their limit and let them redline.
this game is hot. i got it on ps3. it's a bit harder than Oblivion though because of the landscape. in Oblivion there were towns, castles, forests & caves. it was easy to discern them all. in Fallout everything blends together...half the time you don't even realize you've walked up on a town until someone is shooting at you. definitely hours of things to do though.
i'm not a pc gamer...but it seems like every time a big name game comes out there's a story like this about how you have to upgrade just to run the game. that has to suck. you have to upgrade your system EVERY time a game drops?
$400 to save 5 seconds? yeah right. and it actually takes longer to install any game data that the games require? what was the point of this news again? to see how many retarded people out there had $400 to throw away?
yet another reason that exclusives matter so much. i'm also willing to bet all these games used the 360 as their main development console. and prospective consumers should also factor in the fact that their 360 will break down a lot more often than the PS3. i think once programmers stop being so lazy people will start to see a difference and the PS3 will look better but right now these are games built and optimized on the 360 then ported to the PS3. so the results are a reflection of that.
live looks better in still shots and their faces but if you see nba live and 2k8 in actual gameplay then there's no comparison. not to mention which game actually plays better.
they should have done nba 2k8 in 1080p. don't limit the game based on the others. nba live looks good but why are all the people cock eyed or cross eyed? wtf? :lol: and jesus christ...is NBA 08 really on the market? does anyone actually play/buy this game every year? i would boycott that game if i was in the nba and sue them if they did what they did to tracy mcgrady. :lol:
nice improvement...but...seeing as how the first 2 games were on the Xbox and this is the first on the 360 shouldn't we at least EXPECT that kind of jump if not more? i mean...while we're at it let's compare Super Mario Bros. to Paper Mario or Gran Turismo to GT5 Prologue. :lol: cool feature but not really news at all.
Well i already have one but what do i want to make me happy? 1. Games games games! I was so excited when Motorstorm, NBA Street and ICON came out (after plenty of delays). I bought this thing primarily to play games so keep the damn games coming. And downloadable content too. GripShift was actually fun and a bit addictive. And Sudoku, Flow and Blast Factor have all helped me kill a few hours. But i need games. What's with all the delays? is it to add extra exclusive content? Cause if not then what's the frickin holdup? C'mon already. 2nd. price drop. I already have one but a $100 price drop would get all the ps3's off the shelves quick! 500 bucks is a lot easier to swallow than 600 dollars. 3rd. anyone planning on using this thing for net browsing is an idiot. who wants to type in addresses with a controller or go through the hassle of surfing the web with the current setup? and give me one reason to use my PS3 for photos or music? the scrolling down thing is right. i own over 500 cd's. it'd be a waste. mainly my ps3 is for gaming...and they're JUST NOW putting out a few more games worth getting. Resistance, Fight Night, Madden and NBA 2k7 held me over for a while but until last week that was all i had to work with.
