another really good reason not to worry is because i don't use facebook and wasn't planning on buying an Oculus Rift anyway. so we're good on all fronts. carrying on.

man i didn't think Elder Scrolls could be screwed up this bad but it looks like i was wrong. i was already disappointed it was going to be an MMO because so much of what i enjoyed about Oblivion and Skyrim were made possible because it was a single player game. i can just imagine creeping through a cave or ruin with a bow drawn stealthily looting and clearing enemies out to have three idiots run around the corner casting spells and setting off traps screwing up the entire experience. MMO's just end up being huge button mashing brawlers. now this is going the same route.
hopefully Fallout doesn't get screwed up the same way. guess i'll be waiting another 3 years for ES6. because this is bs. paying that much money for a game i was already hesitant to buy because it went MMO? thanks but i'll pass.
at this point i'd rather pay for the rest of the CGI story as an animated movie. because the game itself has lost any chance of me buying it at this point.
Competition is good for the market. I picked up a PS4 because I love Naughty Dog's franchises and prefer the PS4 over an XBO & think it's a better system with more upside but I know that the fact that Microsoft is out there will make Sony continue to step their game up to try and stay ahead of the curve and visa versa. I also think PSPlus offers better benefit for the money. But having both competing is actually great for us as gamers.
The only truly lame thing about the gaming industry is fanboys. The thought that grown men could act like 5 year old little girls is just sad & embarrassing.
Titanfall is probably the one exclusive I'd love to check out on XBO but if it ends up being COD with mechs then I'm good missing it.
The exclusives I want more are the Naughty Dog games & PS Plus has proven to be a better value w/all the free games and indi games you get access to so I went w/the PS4 and spent that extra $100 on an extra controller & some DLC.
it's gotten to the point that the last couple of CoD games feel like they should/could have been DLC for the last one. i think sports games are the only ones that people harp on doing this but COD has done the same thing. at least with Assassin's Creed it's a completely new story. even though playing that series you'd think you and every single one of your "ancestors" run walk and move identical to one another. the different players just feel like different skins but the story is new so i'll give them a pass.
i'm going PS4 this gen but i will admit this is the only game that i was disappointed is an exclusive. hopefully it ends up just being a timed exclusive.
i think the rating is a little harsh based on the fact it's not a complete revamp but Madden never is. it's a few new features wrapped around a great fun core football game. no it didn't revolutionize the game from last year but as a simulation of american football that's fun to play w/some cool features like ultimate team and the new run free mechanics it deserves more than a 6.
definitely not a 9 but it's not a 6. it's a great game that didn't improve leaps and bounds over last year but that's not what we're rating - we're rating THIS game.
i'm disappointed it didn't add more too but here's hoping they improve some of these things with the next gen versions rather than give us slow ports of this game like last gen. the menus being slow is my biggest issue after harsher punishments for people who quit and purposely lag online.
i'd give it at least a 7.5 or just as a fun football game for gamers who like the sport an 8.5.
@Xbox1SinceDay1 Gamestop is getting them the consoles not Sony dude. the only thing that's flat out sad is how fanboys like you are making all games look like whiney little girls.
