I was going to update my 120GB PS3 Slim but I was reading off the forums on playstation.com that there are people that are having issues with it so I was wondering if I should wait a few days before updating or should I just do it anyway.
I talked with Sony this morning but they didn't really know what to say about it and also if I'm not having issues with my games along with collecting trophies which is still normal or not having issues with my system then they said not to worry about but I still have to say that this was the weirdest thing to ever happen to me in all my years of gaming.
The game is playing normal and I'm still able to get trophies normally so it can't be corrupted but I still can't seem to get the trophy to pop up normally so maybe it is something I may have to live with.
I was playing Modnation Racers last night so I decided to finally create my own track Nd decided to have my first online race on it in which I won then the trophy popped up titled Beat Down but when it did it was a picture of a white box with nothing in it then when I checked again after I finished playing the game it shows on my ps3 a picture of a trophy without the lock on it but on my psn card when I checked it there was the regular picture of the bitten chicken leg so people have said to meet that maybe if I sync the trophies up to my account again would that fix it maybe and does this kind of thing happen often?.
I heared that the ps3 update 4.45 had caused issues with some ps3 systems as I was lucky that I didn't update my system at the time so that the newer update is out I would like to know if it's alright to update or not and has the issues with the other update been fixed?.
I got the psp back in fall of 2012 at the nearby Zellers just before they closed down so I was really enjoying playing my Ames then one day while I was playing Kingdom Hearts: birth by sleeps message popped up saying "Would you like to quit the game?" Which my fingers were not anywhere close to the ps home button , then a little while later it did it during a play through of Petpet Adventures: the wand of wishing , then just a week ago I did it yet again while playing Daxter. I have been looking everywhere on the web for answers and I tried almost everything except putting a piece of tape on the door of the system to keep it from thinking that the door was open so I would like to know if there is anyone that has had issues like this and could give me a hand then please do ASAP.
First this message "Would you like to quit game" has appeared the first time while playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep , then it has done it while playing PetPet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing and now yesterday when I was playing Daxter it did it like 5 times in a row so I'm wondering if this really is normal.
I looked everywhere on the web and the only things that it says is to carefully move the metal sprins inside the disk tray up so that they are not laying down on the system and some people say putting a piece of duck tape on the back of the system to keep the tray closed as it's thinks the system is opened but I'm not as my psp I got it back in November so it's still brand new so if anyone can help me out then please do.
