Looks like it has lots of potential and it has (for obvious reasons) that Viewtiful Joe look that is so cool and was missing in recente memory.

So the Nintendo Direct starts with a PS3 exclusive ad. Interesting.

Second it is really great to see Nintendo releasing new IP.

I'm still not sold in the WiiU but as a old Nintendo fan I keep looking for a reason to buy it. Hopefully by this time next year it has a decent library of new and classic titles that motivates me to invest on it....unless I already did it on PS4 and X1...let's see.

@Chr0noid Yep...there was some backlash over the fact that once again women characters had to die in order to drive the male protagonist growth (or development if you prefer). You can even see something about it in the Spoilercast Gamespot did at the time.

In my humble opinion that is just another storytelling tool like happy endings or plot twistis but you know...people always will find something to complain about.
