Metroid never stood out to me as being a horror game. Sure it has elements of horror like mentioned in the article, but I wouldn't call it a Metroid staple. So Why is there an expectation for Metroid to delve further into the horror genre when it was never a horror game to begin with?
@finalcheddar: I will always defend people from bullies whether they'll live or not. Especially when they're being bullied over something as stupid as preferring one game over another.
@finalcheddar: I don't care about whether or not you think Pokemon Let's Go is good. I was only making a case for why you shouldn't be a cyberbully to someone else who shares a different opinion than you do. For you to claim that any of your views are objective is nothing but pure narcissism.
@finalcheddar: there you go. Saying your view is objective again because you know better than everyone else. Let me try it. Pokémon is literally one of the most Mediocre franchises to date with the original Pokémon Black and White being the last good Pokémon game. Now my view here is absolutely objective because subjectivity is only ever a cop out according to you.
@liberalistbat: You literally misunderstood my entire comment. All I said was it doesn't matter if your opinion is in the minority or not, it doesn't make either party more right or less wrong. It's all a matter of personal taste. Clearly the author of the article is in the minority. I thought I made that clear? Despite that, it's his opinion and he is allowed to like the games he likes the way he likes them.
@finalcheddar: I don't think it's better. I disagree with the author but that's besides my point. It's okay to disagree with someone without being mean and condescending. I think Pokémon Let's Go and Pokémon Sword/Shield are not good games but that's my opinion. Pokémon Black/White is probably my personal favorite with Sapphire being a close second.
