@KotomineKirei: Don't get me wrong, you can find me other places on this forum and the internet in general saying the same thing: Atlus should release all of their games on PC and other platforms - but the more anyone says it *especially* when they announce new games, the more their fans look like sour fanboys who are begging for ports. For now, I have the platforms they release their games on, and I will support them.
Anyway I think there will be a portable version of Persona 5. There was for Persona 4 and a cut down version of persona 3.
@valgaav_219: This is something that goes right over the heads of all of the beggars. It's almost like they aren't actual fans of Persona and SMT and are unaware of how things have been for over a decade.
On a more serious note, Switch is exclusively getting SMT V. Atlus is just like that, each series has its own platform. If Persona 5 were to be ported to Switch, Shin Megami Tensei would then be ported to PS4.
@Bread_or_Decide: It isn't all subjective. The controls are exactly the same, not better. The graphics, while it runs much better than the 360/PS3 versions at 60fps, has more texture pop in than the remaster and lower res textures. Not subjective.
I've been playing this game since 2012 on PS3, and I still play it often. I am an actual fan of this game, one of the biggest, but that doesn't mean I have to uncritically praise it. This article is more of a marketing piece than journalism. If anything, Capcom could have added more to the game, but they didn't. Anyway, if you get it, I'm guessing this will most likely be your first time playing this game. Congratulations, it's a fantastic game.
@Bread_or_Decide: Nothing is specific - it's just a bunch of subjective commentary. He talks about the graphics and controls being supposedly better, but the switch runs it at lower res with lower shadow textures, even though it's going to be mostly identical being a last gen game. For the controls, they are exactly the same as any other version! This is just a dude who enjoys playing it portable. Subjective.
