Will be the first CoD I'll have bought I'm years, the yearly 'Most Futuristic Future Bouncing Off Walls Soldier 6' gets boring, in fact it is terrible.
CoD has enough studios to rotate, why not go historical, current and then futuristic? Everybody is happy and it keeps it different and not saturated.
I see the Scorpio as the Bugatti of the gaming world. It is a thing of beauty, the absolute best money can buy but sells very few. People admire from afar but choose(yep even in the hyper car market)a cheaper alternative as it almost does the same.
Standing in a store, especially purchasing for somebody else, you see a Scorpio or a PS4 Pro + 5 games for the same price. No brainer for me.
I for one am glad of the 'feature creep', yeah it's taking longer but no studio or publisher would ever dared to fund such an ambitious project.
Aside from that all the bricks are getting there, it's getting near to a point where they just need put together to create one gelled masterpiece.
Takes a real level of idiocy to claim this is a scam, you could spend months going through all the paperwork, videos and reports showing its development. Don't think any game has been so thoroughly chronicled in public.
I spent £45 on this and will get everything at launch, I've pretty much pre-ordered it. Not a bad deal.
@Random_Matt: Which is the vast majority of games, I think you will find anything above 20 hours is long. Up to that point is normal with 10 or less being short, it also depends on the genre.
Linear stories like Uncharted will never be like RPGs at 50+ hours.
Anybody paying attention and even playing the units will see it is coming along, the basics are getting there. It needs stitching together, polished and the depth added but it is getting there.
I'd expect the first part to release next year at some point.
