Tough to wrap my head around the notion that gaming will be all about milking gamers? You got that right it'll be tough

I'm having a fantasy whereby a billionaire tycoon would buy up EA and break it up to the individual companies which make up EA

Everyone is taking the article too literally. Of course among the things which are almost 'unlikely' or 'impossible', a Gears fps would indeed seem possible. He'd be stupid to completely rule it out. 'Not ruling out' isn't the same as confirming it.

I found it quite different. PoP was always more about acrobatics. You could wall run and perform other simian-like moves. Compared to the price, Ezio feels like he weighs a ton.

The figures in the article are confusing. If TakeTwo's revenue this period is 226 million, while last year's one was 334 million, it doesn't imply a lost. It could be a lost, or just a drop in profit. If it was indeed a 110 million lost, that would mean that their operating cost was 336 million, implying that they merely broke even last year.

It's no different from Activision. What Activision and Capcom both need is a lesson in a form of financial loss. Despite this, Activision's subsequent Call of Duty games will break sale records, motivating them to continue what they're doing.
