@crewe8: I buy a lot of games, but in the end, comparing it to other dumb things I pay for, it's so cheap. $1000+ for a single cell phone, many thousands on eating at restaurants, $3k+ on gasoline, $3k+ on electricity for my house..

Losing 4 gaming days in probably the best week of the year to play games with friends and family is way more valuable than 64 cents. Sony is partially at fault for their notoriously terrible network. As we frustratingly tried to get our consoles to function, I don't think anyone said, 'damn, I just wasted 1.5 cents of my time'. They really walked away pissed off, frustrated, and disappointed in this product that they love.

It appears that I am the only person that still is getting crashes and freezes with 2.02. I've tried everything. I bought mine the day ps4 was released and it was flawless before the 2.0 update.

I'm thinking of just buying a new one and then putting this POS back in the box and returning for a full refund. Has anyone done this? Is there any reason why it wouldn't work? Do they actually check serial numbers or anything when returning?
