@redhedjack: I don't think it was actually finished, could be wrong though. Remember, the main game was a defend against waves of enemy game where you build up stuff and level your character. The BR mode was just tacked on because they could and made it free. You still have to buy the game if you want to play the main mode, which my friend tells me is a lot funner.
@picklerick99: The core game is actually a building defense game, but you have to buy that. the BR mode was just tacked on because they could. I haven't played that mode but my friend said it was a lot funner than the BR mode.
@lukasr: Same. I actually never played PUBG but I played Fortnite for about a week. The building mechanic sounded cool at first but in practice is dumb. I'd rather PUBG where you have to use whats their to hide and get advantages, not build a stairway to heaven only to shoot me from above.
@Ant_17: Only the Battle Royale mode is free; their first main concept of the game you still have to buy. I find it funny that the game blew up even though it was a tacked on free game mode not related to the main game.
@Alucard_Prime: If BF5 actually does a BR mode, I think it could actually be amazing. I mean we already have big maps and 64 players with a lot of weapons and vehicles. I like the concept of getting better armor though like PUBG has, and not sure how 100 people fighting each other makes sense in WW2 :P
