Sigh* again with these pointless studies, and it also comes with a extra that contradicts on what the researchers are saying. They say that those that play violent games get more sleep while the other who played pony's and rainbow had a lack of sleep. These research are really pointless, of course you get faster heart-rate if you play violent video games, reason: "you get heated up and into it that you just get that burst of energy coming out of you" same thing when I read these pointless studies on violent video games, I read them and my heart-rate goes up because of the anger I feel on these researchers due to their lack of "COMMON SENSE"
Man I've been playing violent video games since what 6 and what I'm 24 and had never had any problem in going violent. What these researchers are checking is just heart-rate and sleep, that has nothing to do as the cause of violence. All it showed is that violent video games gets your blood boiling and getting you lack of sleep, which I would like to oppose on the sleep part since I do get a good sleep even if I play violent video games. Heart Rate; "NO DUH!!!" that doesnt only apply to games it also applies to sports, tvs, novels, comics, movies, anything entertaining.
These researchers needs to use their time on something more efficient rather than trying to find the impossible. I mean they could have used their time to do research that would actually HELP people. All they are doing is the same thing that PETA did with Cooking Mama and Mario, they said that Cooking Mama is teaching kids on how to butcher animals and how Mario is teaching kids that skinning raccoon and wearing their furs are alright.
It's really sad when these researchers and also these people who try to ban "violent" video games do these pointless research and news when they as kids have gone through these and SHOULD KNOW that video games are not the number 1 influence on violence but its mostly a natural thing. Games dies not rouse violence on others, it is the person influences the violence. Murders kill people either because they are lunatics who enjoy killing and seeing others suffer, enjoy the thrill that they think they have the power, or they are angry at a person that they want to see them dead.
@thequickshooter actually all nintendo systems and handheld have good games but it just takes time, and another reason why people think that there are no good games after the gamecube is because many of the good games are all made in Japan only. If you search up there are tons of good games for the Wii such as Fatal Frame Zero, Taiko no Tatsujin, Super Robot Taisen and many more, Its just that most of those games are not localized.
Its kind of like the PSP. here in the states the PSP is dead, but in Japan its still one of the best selling handhelds and there are games still coming out for it. So what Nintendo needs to do is that if they are going to region lock their system, they should at lease release most of the games that will also be released in Japan if they want to have their sales go up or it will just become like the PSP where they dont have all the good games and it will be left to die.
yes sure the Wii U is not an upgrade but its not worth owning one right now, I have the system right now and I regret buying it, only 2-3 games are worth getting Mario Land U, Monster Hunter 3, and Nintendo Land (well the last one is just my opinion), but the games out right now are not worth it, and no good games for the Wii U is coming out any time soon. Probably sales will got up if they bring in more games

Just saw the news today and it looks like Adukts are TEACHING KIDS who are 5 years old ,younger and older on HOW TO USE GUNS, now there's a story she can write about. And if she says that they are just teaching them, well there's also that news where a 5 year old shot his 2year old sister to death with a GUN he received for his birthday from his MOM.
Yes, thats exactly what I mean. There are many incidents where people are commiting crimes due to extreme stupidity. Some are killed in a parade where they are trampled to death, so what are they going to ban that parade because it excites the people into leading go on a rampage leading to someones death, no they dont they just finish it off by saying that the people that were killed were unlucky.
All of these so called experts on blaming video games for crimes have no base on such actions. All the have to back up their claim is the suspects words saying " its all video games fault"
If they blame every crazed guy killing people on video games then they should also ban movies, remember the Batman Premier Massacre where the guy said he was the Joker and started shooting everyone in the Theater.
These so called experts are always looking for a reason to ban video games, but they never talk to any of the people that play these games, it all about their perspective or the ones that choose to act violent and blame games. I play violent video games to let out my stress or just have fun, they dont affect my mental health. Just because I play Dead Island doesnt give me the urge to build a electrified sledge hammer and start killing people.
All those people who blame games for their action are people with mental problems who probably should have never touched any games. And if Experts still say that games with violence should be banned then they should ban EVERY entertainment from movies, novels, tv shows, comics, commercials, sports such as boxing.
well I have Tales of Xillia and I can say that this game is great and the sequel judging it by looking at the trailer is better, of course its completely different than symphonia 2 which was a big failure, but glad to know that the tales series is picking up here for western areas.
Man these comparisons are always just plain useless, only thig it bring to the comments are usually fanboys claiming their favorite consoles to be better than the other. Well I own both consoles and I say that BOTH have their up and downs. Such examples are, UP: PS3 has free online play, free wifi, blue-ray discs (which are clearly better that dvd's since they can carry more data, a good example would be star ocean,xbox ver you have to keep on switching discs PS3 ver you dont), Now for XBOX they have many good games that the PS3 does not have such as Halo and Fable II, Online play is actually better in the XBOX360, its bacward compatible up to some games (the PS3 does not have that anymore, those that have the consoles that have the backward compability are not manufactured anymore), The control is easier to use when playin First Person Shooter games. Now for the down side: The PS3 has some internet connectivity problems from time to time, and for the XBOX360, you have to buy for WIFI which is quite pricey, you have to keep on paying every month for online play, the cosole might crash (the ring of death), the games freezes from time to time while playing, only special HDD meant for the 360 are allowd to be used and those are pricey,. Well those are all that I can think of, but serieously its just pointless to compare these 2 magnificent consoles it all depends on which consoles the gamer likes to play with.
