Thank you, I guess i'll go for unlimited... now to find a contract that doesn't have a BS fair usage policy. If anyone could give a second opinion on the legitimacy of this site it would be greatly appreciated too - http://www.buymobilephones.net/

Will be getting a new phone contract soon and have had a 'temporary' one for months. I'm on a restricted budget looking for a new phone and I need to know if 1gb of data a month will be enough for me. This will probably consist of browsing a fair amount, using social networks (facebook/twitter) and maybe vine. This means uploading a fair amount of pictures (possibly :P) - I'm not sure how much 1gb consists of relative to mobile devices since i've never payed attention to it before on anything else so will it be enough? or shall I not take the risk or go for unlimited? thank you
EDIT: May also subscribe to spotify (music streaming service) too which will probably have a rather large impact on data usage.
The game is sold only on steam. If you go to the steam game page it has a big fat metacritic score of 20/100 ( all games have their MC score on steam ) . If you are gonna buy a game out of impulse that has such a low score at least make a 10minute search especially if the game is an MMO that requires billing information[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"]
Wow this thread is sad.
I agree the company is awful.
But saying that people who may not frequent boards or do as much research as us may have bought it.
Saying it's ok for people to get their information stolen is just awful.
But this is just a sad sad thread.

Even if you dont visit gaming boards you cant miss the metacritic score on steams page
Nope it's also sold through their site (I don't know if it then goes through steam) and i'm sure many pre-ordered and it is a lot of effort to cancel a steam pre order. There are such things as casual consumers and impulse buys... even trust. A new company coming out with a rip-off game probably wasn't going to go down very well, but people may've bought based on how it sounds and looks interesting (possibly even unaware of dayZ, casual consumers do exist yaknow)
There are those who bought the game in good faith, and for them it's unfortunate. But those who buy stuff without doing the slightest bit of research, or do, and disregard the plethora of bad stuff they unearth, could stand to learn a lesson I reckon. I have no sympathy for those people. They're why we can't have nice things.McStrongfastIs there no such thing as impulse buying or casual consumers on pc as a platform then? can nobody check the steam store, think something looks interesting and just buy it? Sure, they could research to see if a game is reviewed well but it is not usually in peoples mindsets to actually see if a game is functional seeing as this isn't usually a problem, hell, it being on steam probably gained most peoples trust. sure they could be more wary but sometimes I buy games due to liking the look of them instead of checking the damn metacritic rating and customer reviews and I shouldn't have to check these things. It being on the top sellers also probably said something...

Am I the only one seeing a lot of doom and gloom here?

Nope. A lot of others, including myself, feel that way too. Good thing if consoles fail, we still have PC and handheld(s.)
If consoles fail pc will have a whole lot less high budget games and many studios would go under, it'd give indie devs an opportunity to flourish though but both pc and consoles need to coexist reallyThere is a common formula, yes, but i'm wondering what people would actually prefer? Not to mention the box arts need to appeal to a wide audience, not us, forum dwellers and the likes will already be set on getting a game based on reviews or gameplay, not the cover art - whereas a mum in wal mart wont. They need to be eye catching like that, with a focus point on something basic with pretty colours

This is sadly true. And even if it was some ridiculous haircolor like blue/purple etc., how is that a problem exactly?
I agree, but they must have some reason, I mean all high school kids in the UK wear uniformI don't even know what one is now. Surely if they're so connected to social media and are online constantly they're aware of the social stigma attatched to them and would adapt to avoid this... or, shockingly, maybe people dress a certain way and listen to certain music because they genuinely favour it?
